Chapter 62: Travel Plans

Sporting their matching outfits Kai and Minda entered the office where General Lei and Sir were waiting.

"Pfft! Hahahaha!" General lei burst into a loud obnoxious laugh the moment he saw them. His fist banged against the table and he pointed at them while he laughed. Kai immediately ran forward and with a swift fist punched the back of the General's head.

Smack*

"Brat!" General Lei snapped as he held his head.

"Jerk!" Kai snapped back.

While they glared at each other Minda was attempting to escape. He felt giddy when they left the bedroom in their matching green outfits. However, after witnessing General Lei's outburst the moment they entered the room he was feeling incredibly embarrassed and wanted to leave.

"MinMin, don't go." Kai said when he noticed.

"Pfft, MinMin? Hahaha!" General Lei once again started laughing again. Kai wanted to comfort Minda but General Lei's laugh caught his attention and he turned around in an attempt to smack him again.

General Lei however wasn't willing to be hit a punching bag to the pissed off Kai. He dodged the first hit and stood up ready to brawl. Kai didn't back down.

"Come on!" General Lei goaded. Kai threw another punch but was blocked by the General's swift palm. Kai followed his punch with a kick but missed and hit the desk instead. His powerful kick nearly knocked it across the room but Sir who was calmly watching caught it.

"You've gone weak!" General Lei said in order to provoke Kai even more.

"F*ck you!" Kai growled as he lunged forward to hit him.

"Idiot, have you forgotten everything I taught you? Since when did you turn into an impatient hot head?" General Lei asked after blocking another one of his punches.

"When did you become such an insensitive ass?" Kai rebuked.

"I've always been an ass!" General Lei proudly exclaimed as he kicked Kai's stomach. Kai grabbed his leg unhurt by the kick and twisted it. General Lei wasn't worried. He grabbed the chair and swung it towards Kai before Kai could injure his leg and push him down.

The chair smashed into several pieces upon impact. Kai let go of General Lei's leg and falter for a few seconds before regaining his composure and getting ready for round two.

"Enough!" Sir finally said as he looked at the damage the two had caused. Neither were willing to back down so Sir had to remind Kai of what was important.

"Your little soulmate is gone." Sir said. Kai turned to look at the doorway where Minda had been sitting in his wheelchair. It was exactly as Sir said. Minda was gone. Worried he might be upset Kai ran out of the room.

Alone in the room Sir grabbed a piece of the broken chair and threw it at General Lei.

"Don't embarrass the kids." Sir rebuked.

"How can I not laugh when they come strolling in wearing matching outfits and a cutesy nickname like MinMin?" General Lei said in his defence. Sir could only shake his head exasperated by his attitude.

Kai found Minda in their bedroom. He was standing by the wardrobe pulling out clothes while half dressed. His scarred back in full view under the light. Seeing his frazzled appearance Kai's heart squeezed.

"I'm sorry. Asking you to wear matching outfits was so stupid. I'm sorry." Minda said as he continued to look through his wardrobe.

"MinMin..."

"You shouldn't call me that." Minda said in a pitiful voice.

"I won't stop, MinMin."

"You have to. Were being laughed at."
