General Lei and Kai spoke until dawn. They talked about everything that transpired since the last time they met including Minda. Kai talked about him nonstop until the sun started to rise in the East.
General Lei watched the first rays of light shine through the trees while Kai gazed across the garden towards Minda bedroom.
"It's still early. Let the boy sleep." General Lei said knowing Kai wanted to leave.
"He isn't sleeping. Minda barely gets a few hours of sleep at night without me because of severe nightmares." Kai said as he got up to leave.
"Is that the excuse you've been using to justify sleeping in his room every night?" General Lei asked with a wide grin.
"How..."
"I told you Houtian and Yanlin have been watching you. They told me a lot of interesting details of your life here. Including how you often run out of his bedroom and start running laps around the estate." General Lei teased.
Kai never cared about being seen by Auntie Feifei or anyone else when he was being intimate with Minda. However seeing the look on General Lei's face as he grinned brought shivers down his back.
"We've done nothing wrong." Kai proclaimed before leaving the bedroom with a bright red face. As he walked he could hear the sound of General Lei's boisterous laughter coming from the bedroom.

Walking towards Minda's room Kai came across the newly hired servants CaoFang and MaFang. They were carrying baskets of dirty linen. Kai couldn't hide his annoyance when he saw them.
Seeing his glare the two young women quickly moved to the side of the hall and coward with their heads down until Kai passed.
"Sir Kai, good morning." Auntie Feifei said when she saw him.
"Good morning."
"Would you like to come with me to see if the Young Master is awake?" Auntie Feifei asked. Kai looked at her thinking she didn't need to come with him but then he realized the two sisters were still standing nearby and they had to put on a show.
"Yes." Kai said. The two them headed towards Minda's bedroom. When they were alone and got close he stopped. Auntie Feifei looked at Kai waiting to hear what he wanted to say.
"Those two servants..."
"Mother, the construction workers are here." Syaoran said before Kai could finish speaking. Kai cursed internally. He planned to rid the house of the sisters so he and Minda could go back to sharing a room together again but before he could more strangers were arriving.
"Understood, please help them with anything they need." Auntie Feifei instructed. She then refocused her attention on Kai so he may continue.
"Don't allow them anywhere near Minda's bedroom. He needs rest." Kai said. He wished he could say more but there was no point with so many strangers roaming the estate.
Auntie Feifei understood and they continued towards the bedroom.
...
"Kai?" Minda called out the moment he heard the door to his bedroom open.
"I'm here."
Kai looked towards the bed expecting to see Minda but he wasn't there. Instead he was laying on the sofa with the snow leopards. Right away Kai knew Minda had spent the night on the sofa instead of in his bed.
Minda tried to sit up but fell back down after suffering a dizzy spell. Kai noticed and hurriedly rushed over to Minda's side.
"Did you get any sleep last night?" Kai asked.
