Minda stared dumbfounded at Kai. He couldn't believe what he just heard. In shock he raised his hand and immediately touched Kai's forehead. It was warm but Minda couldn't be sure if it was a fever or not. Needing help he turned and found Houtian riding a horse nearby.

"Houtian, can you help me?" Minda called out.

"Huh? Me!" Houtian asked with a shocked expression as he pointed at his face.

"Yes, can you feel Kai's forehead. I'm worried he has a fever." Minda said without shame or tact.

"Minda, I'm not sick." Kai said with an amused grin. Minda didn't believe him. When Kai tried to move his hand Minda only moved his hand back again.

"This morning you said you weren't sure. Now, you are sneezing. You're sick and I need Houtian or someone to check if you have a fever because I can't tell if you have one or not." Minda exclaimed.

"Pfft! Hahaha! Kai, looks like I have no choice but to check." Houtian said. Kai glared at him but Houtian wasn't frightened. With impressive movements Houtian stood up on his moving horse.

"Minda, do you mind moving over a bit so I can jump across?" Houtian said. Minda would normally have been impressed but he was too worried about Kai. He quickly scooted over giving plenty of room for Houtian to come over.

"MinMin, you can't feel if I have a fever because I don't." Kai said but Minda ignored him.

"Hurry over." Minda urged Houtian to come over. He laughed aloud in response before jumping on to the moving carriage. Kai pulled Minda onto his lap to keep him away from Houtian in a protective stance.

"Honey, let him feel your forehead." Minda demanded. Kai grumbled a little but didn't pull away when Houtian touched his forehead.

"What do you think? Does he have a fever?"

"I'm not sure." Houtian honestly said. He was a soldier not a doctor. He had no idea if Kai's forehead felt hot or not.

"MinMin, I'm... Achoo!"

"Houtian can you drive the carriage? Kai needs rest." Minda said.

"MinMin..."

"Shush!" Minda said. His finger covering Kai's mouth before he could say anything else. Too shocked to laugh or say anything Houtian and Kai simply stared. Minda didn't care. He grabbed Kai's arm and started forcing him into the carriage.

"Houtian, thanks for the help." Minda said no longer waiting for his reply."

"No problem. Kai, rest well." Houtian said as he watched Minda force Kai into the carriage. The amused look on Houtian's face was irritating so Kai felt the urge to say something back.

"I will because my loving husband will take wonderful care of me." Kai gloated. He could have felt embarrassed by the situation but instead decided to rub the fact he was married in Houtian's face.

"Hey, I'm doing you a favour." Houtian complained. Kai smirked then shut the curtain in response.

...

"Honey, lay down." Minda said. Kai didn't feel unwell and didn't feel the need to lay down.

"MinMin."

"I said lay down." Minda demanded in a more serious voice when Kai remained seated.

"What do you plan on doing?" Kai asked as he obediently lay down. He had never seen Minda so forceful.

"This new side of MinMin is actually a bit exciting." Kai thought while admiring Minda's serious expression.

Minda didn't notice his stare. He was too busy digging around his medicine chest looking for something he could give Kai. The problem was that he had over a dozen prescriptions each for slightly different reasons and he didn't know which one applied to Kai's current condition.
