73. Tree Top Hill

Paige's Pov:

I wake up to Faith starting to make noise. It's still dark, but I don't want my hubby's to get too tired. I can do this too. I get up and sit on the bench at the foot of the bed. I start feeding Faith. I rock her gently. Hmm, that gives me an idea. I need to make a bench swing. That would be perfect for Faith while I feed her. Hmm.. that could work if I knew how to build one. This will be trial and error. My furniture skills aren't as good.. well, a rocking chair it is until I can figure out how to hold up a swing from the ceiling. Maybe one of my hubby's will have an idea. Or chains.

I feel arms hold me from behind. I lean back into my hubby's arms. Mm.. I rest my head on his shoulder, looking up. Muir smiles at me.

"Paige.. you should be asleep still we can watch her." He whispers at me.

"I need to help too she's our cub." I whisper back.

"Mm, okay, whatever you want, my feather. But the bench isn't as comfortable." He lifts us up, pulling us onto the bed in his lap. Pulling a blanket around us, he starts rocking us. I stifle a giggle. Looking at my sleeping hubby's. Damian and Muir are awake. Damian gets up, rubbing my head.

"You're going to put us both to sleep if you keep this up." I whisper to them.

"Then both of you sleep." Damian whispers. I nod, still holding my precious daughter in my arms. Oh my god, four girls who will need to feed.. this will be hard to do.

"Muir..." I look up at him. He nuzzles my neck.

"Shh.. sleep feather. Look, see?" He whispers lowly at me. I feel his warm breath on my neck. Looking down, Faith is asleep but still drinking. I burp her as Muir keeps rocking us. I close my eyes. Eventually, I feel Damian lift Faith from my arms. As I fall back to sleep.

I wake up still in Muirs arms. I'm sleeping on top of him. He's so handsome. I play with his hair, taking the braid out. I rub his beautiful hair. How was I so lucky. His hair is soft and well taken care of. I lightly kiss his collarbone. My beautiful hubby. His hands lightly wrap around me more. I lay my head back down, still wanting to cuddle.

"Good morning.." his low gravely tired voice reaches my ear.

"Good morning." I kiss him on his neck.
He quietly laughs.

"Let's get your bath started." He kisses my head.

"Hmm.. no, I want to cuddle you. Please?" I ask him.

"Of course, feather, we can stay in bed." I nod. Falling back, I fell asleep in his arms. We ended up sleeping in for a few more hours. Until I had to pee so bad I couldn't ignore it. I do my morning bath. I follow Muir around the house. I hope I'm not bothering him, but his smile tells me otherwise. I'm holding Faith just following him around like some lost puppy. It's storming outside. We get a knock at the door. Shuu answers it. Oh, it's that male with his female Trish.

"Hi, you must be Trish, right?" I ask her. She scoffs at me.

"Well, of course, who else can it be? Now shoe me what you do to clean." She demands.. oh my god.

"Um, I'm doing you a favor. There's no reason to be rude.." I tell her.

"How dare you say I'm being rude to you. I'm letting you help me because I'm so nice." Her arms cross.

"You know what, no.. sorry, so find someone else. I won't help you not with you being rude." I tell her.

"You said you'd help. How dare you go back on your word!" She yells at me.
My hubby's start growling. Trish's male growl back. 
Kaden's two dragon heads come down on each side of the female and her mates.

"You.. will leave.. or I will eat you.." both of his heads say in a dark creepy voice. Trish shreiks as they all run. I burst into laughter.

"So this is what you do to make females run?" I ask laughing.
One of his heads speaks.

"Well, it is funny, don't you think?" I die.. handing over Faith, I run to go pee. Muir runs after to help me so I don't fall.

After that whole mess, I get carried back to the Livingroom by Muir. I see Harvey walk up touching my hair.

"Paige, do you want to go with me to pick some medicine?" Touching my hair, he asks me. His voice smooth as silk. I kiss him.

"I'd love to but the rain.." he smiles.

"The rain will pass soon, and then you can ride me or Muir." Harvey tells me.

"I'll ride you both..." I think out loud. I put my hands on my mouth.. bad Paige..

"Oh? Well, then maybe we should put off getting medicine then. Then you can ride us whenever." Muirs hot breath tickles my neck. My stomach tightens as Muir starts licking my ear lobe. Well shit hormones, at least everyone's been satisfied. I nod.

~Two Hours Later~

"I still want to get herbs before cold season. Can we still go?" I ask them. Wrapped in their arms. I play with the warm bath water. Their hair floats on the surface. I play with their hair. My hair is in a bun cause I took my bath today and it would be to cold to walk with wet hair.

"Yes we can bunny. We just can't be gone to long we only have a few hours of light." Harvey tells me.

"You must also bundle up cause it will get colder before it gets dark. I'll bring some things so we can warm up if need." Muir rubs my belly.

"Sounds like a plan." I nod. Hmm this will be fun. We get dressed and ready. Grabbing a few items and me bundling up we set out to go.

"Kaden, we're going to the tree top hill to find medicine with Paige. Faith is sleeping and Shuu is watching her so don't leave the house. We will be back before dark." Muir tells him.

"Okay. Lucien and I will watch Faith with Shuu. Caspian went to the river. I think Winston and Damian are hunting. Curtis is making things for the cubs on the way. Be careful." Kaden tells us. We nod.

I fly on Muir's back. I love this. He's slow and steady for me. I hand my arms around his neck. One thing I don't do is look down. Hell no...
We get to a beautiful green hill surrounded by tall trees at the bottom. It looks like we're in the tree tops. Oh since the name. I giggle at my stupidity.
We land and I'm still holding onto Muir. I kiss his feathered cheek and slide down him. He shifts.

"My feather being a bit playful today?"

"Well that's because I can." I squeak as he lifts me up. Holding me like a bride. I wrap my arms around him. Harvey catches up. He shifts as my perverted eyes watch him.

"Harvey this area is so pretty." I tell him.

"Yes one of the villagers showed me this area. I thought you'd like it." Harvey tells me as he puts his bags down. He grabs a few logs putting one big one for me to sit. He starts a fire.

"Now you'll be warm if need be." Muir sets me down.

"Okay but I want to help find some herbs." I say as I get up. Harvey growls pouncing a giant spider. I shreik. Muir shifts clawing it. The spider chittering sounds creep me out. Muir starts fighting it. Harvey runs to me limping.
I crouch down looking at his paw. Oh my god!

"Harvey.." I cry out.
He shifts.

"It's okay it's just a sleep..." he wobbles falling I try catching him the best I can. I watch the fight. Muir is amazing at fighting.
He rips the leg off the spider. It chittering dragging it's fat butt along the ground backing away. Eww eww eww! I hold Harvey. Muir eventually kills it. He flies up shifts and lands falling to his knees. Oh my god! He falls over passing out. Shit shit shit shit...

I get them both comfortable.

"Now what... shelter.." I look for something anything... I find a few logs but I can't lift them I'm pregnant and I won't chance my babies. I sit at the fire with my two passed out hubby's, feeling defeated..
