74. Poison Doctor

Paige's Pov:

I collected the herbs and more wood. I know that if it gets dark my hubby's will get here fast. Thankfully.. I hear a few bushes move. Startled I grab a pice of wood to use as a club if need. I stand up and run to a tree.
I hold the club about to hit someone or something. It gets closer. Then I hear it right by the tree I'm hiding behind. I swing.

"Whoa that would have hurt." The male catches my club. I look up. Oh thank God. It's the Peacock male who sold me seeds.

"Sorry...I'm just." I start to cry.

"What happened are you okay female?" He picks me up and walks me to the fire we have lit.

"Spider.. they were stung." I yawn cry. Damn it.

"Let me check them." He sits me down and checks Muir and Harvey.
I watch as he looks at their wounds. He pulls his pouch out. He grabs herbs and mortar and pestle grinding up ingredients he places the green goo on their wounds. He wraps them. Looking up at me.

"Their okay just sleeping but I need to get you and your mates back. They won't wake up before it becomes fully dark. Do you think my can walk beside me female? It will be a bit of a treck" I nod. Wiping my tears.
He shifts into a beautiful white peacock. Tall, and graceful his tail feathers are long. The eyes of his feathers are beautiful. He has a sparkling shimmer about him. Like first fallen snow. His head he has a crown of feathers. I run my hand on his beautiful form. Wow..

"Beautiful.." I whisper.
He bends down beside my hubby's pulling Muir on his back then Harvey. I grab the bags that we brought which Thankfully are still light enough to carry. We start walking down the hill. He grabs my dress with his mouth so I won't fall.
Once we get down the thick forest is dark and hard to see. Luckily the Peacock male knows the way he guides me through with him. We reach the river to follow it back. We spot Caspian on the way. He gets out of the water shifting his tail running to me.

"Paige! Are you okay?" He picks me up. I hug him tightly.

"A spider attacked us." I cry a bit.

"Shh.. it's okay Paige.. thank you male." Caspian holds me tighter. He's a bit wet but I don't care. We get home. Right before dark. Kaden helps the peacock male get Harvey and Muir down.

"You should not head to the tree top hill there is many venomous and poisonous creatures there." He tells us.

"I don't think my hubby's knew. Harvey said a villager showed him the area." I say.

"Then that villager wanted your mate to die." The peacock tells us. I gasp..

"Why do you go there? Shouldn't you not either?" I ask him. He chuckles. I look at him curiously.

"Are you a doctor?" I ask him.

"Uh.. not quite.. I'm a.." he starts to explain.

"Poison doctor." Kaden growls out.

"Yes. I'm a poison doctor. I make deadly poisons, and Venom's." Intrigued i stand looking at him.

"So wait what the difference?" I ask.

"One heals this one kills." Kaden growls. Oh.

"Yes.. well I'm glad your safe female. You need to know that the east forest has nothing there for you or your males except your three immune to such things but please don't go there again. You'll get badly hurt or taken." Te male tells me.

"Whats your name?" I ask him.

"Azrael" Kaden growls getting infront of me. As does Curtis.

"I see my reputation is as thriving as it always has been... sadly. Well female it is late and I'm glad you and your males are safe." He nods to me.
