80. Trial

Paige's Pov:

We see people crowded around the stone. Alec goes to the top of the stone platform. I also see the Bear Tribe leader get on the stone stage. Lucien picks me up, and I sit on his shoulder so I can see. Rosa just walks up behind Alec. I see the four kings gather, too, looking a bit confused. The crowd is demanding justice and to know if their cubs are in danger, too.

"Silence! It has come to my attention that a cub has been hurt from one of the female's under the four kings protection. The female is not of our tribe. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the king who brought her here. To make sure the female follows our laws.
She has broken our laws, hurting a fox cub. Me being the leader of the tribe I will deal accordingly. Our laws are what keeps our tribe alive and well. Bring the female." Alec says. The guards nod, walking a bit away.
We hear the shreiks and cussing of Eudora, and her males are growling. Her males are held down by other guards. Including my hubby Muir, who works for the city to help out.

"Now.. fortunately, the cub has only had a broken leg. A few males saw this happen as did another female and her mates. Due to this, your males will help the village as of you. You will be confined to your home until trade opens, and you will be sold. You may only have two of your males with you at all times. The rest will be working. This is the punishment of hurting a cub." Alec says. The bear leader nods with his arms crossed.

"Also, you will not be able to mate any males in the village. If a male does, we will punish the male." Everyone nods in understanding. I lay my head on Lucien's. I can see everyone from here.
Rosa walks over to me.

"I'm fuckin pissed she should have been a breeder... you know how they do the breeding punishment right?" Rosa adds.

"No, how?" I curiously ask.

"Well, they get a unmateable male that's old who lost their female, and they make them go to the female when she's in heat. That way, they can have a cub, but he isn't able to mate mark the female. It's only really done in the very barbaric cities..." I look at her wide eyed. Oh so that's how it's done..

"That's what becoming a breeder is?" I ask Rosa.

"Oh fuck no girl.. there's the punishment breeder then there's the breeder who can get pregnant a lot. The fertal breeder gets to choose the tipy toppy males to have as mates. Then they have a lot of cubs the female gets all kinds of things like furs, emralds, crystals.. you know. Man if you become a breeder I'll vicariously live through you Paige.. but now looking at your males your kind of already are. Damn it I need a good dickin now. See you later Paige! Alec we need to go home I want to play in the red room!" Rosa yells. Alecs eyes get dark as he runs over lifting Rosa up as they run off.

"Bye!" I wave but Rosa didn't see me. I giggle. Lucien brings me down into his arms.

"That was a fair trial. Despite what Rosa said it was fair." Lucien tells me.

"Yeah it was. I'm glad he listened to you." Shuu adds. His hand caresses my cheek.

"Well I guess we can go home but I see mother and father so let's go say hi." I tell them. Shuu looks excited.
We go over to the wolf Queen and King.

"There you are! How is my favorite cub?" Sandy hugs me. Shuu is just happy. I hug her back.

"Well we are doing great now that this who mess has been taken care of. I wanted to know I'd you'd like to come over to eat dinner with us?" I ask them.

"Yes! We are definitely coming over. Let me go home and get some things then I'll be there." Sandy says.

"Sounds great!" We head home in a much more happier tune.
We get inside the fox cub is still here to be watched. I check on him and he's still out. I kiss Harvey.

"We are having family over tonight. So I'm going to cook. Can you put the cub in a basket so he can be more comfortable?" The older brother is still outside waiting.

"Ha.. let the fox male in Caspian." Harvey says.
Shuu gets a basket for the cub and a fur. He sets the cub inside.

"Hey you can come in only because your brother cub is still hurt and we have to watch him." Caspian tells him. He comes in looking nervous but when he sees his brother he shows signs of relief.

"Lucien, Kaden can you both get me some meat for dinner. Curtis I need some fruit too. Oh and Shuu I need water as well. Azrael your going to help me cook. Damian I need milk. Hmm what else.. Winston I need a few more chairs for the table honey. Thank you. This will be so fun! Oh and tell Muir dinner will be soon." They nod as I pick Faith up taking her to the kitchen with me. I start going through my vegetables. Hmm.. potatoes, carrots, eggplant, cauliflower. Oh! I'll do a breakfast for dinner that sounds good. I pull a jar of peanuts.

"Azrael, I need these crushed into a paste. This will go on top of the pancakes." He nods.

"Okay do you want anything else done?" He asks. Oh damn it yes..

"Um yes actually..  can you hold her for a second I need to get eggs." I ask.

"I'll get them. It's getting cold stay here I'll be right back." I nod looking up at his beautiful red eyes. He blushes profusely and heads out. I giggle. I guess I'll be the one to do all the first moves on my shy peacock. He's very soft spoken, gentle and extremely shy. I love it. Still I won't do anything until Kaden agrees to it.
I start pulling out potatoes putting them on the counter. Hmm some fried potatoes's with some bell peppers will be good ill add onions too. I need to make breakfast rolls too. Some meat, and eggs. I wonder if Harvey has cinnamon.

Sorry I haven't been writing. We all have a really bad flu. My body aches, I've had high fevers so has my kids it's been just awful. We've been sleeping a lot lately. My son ended up in the hospital overnight cause he was puking and he's a type 1 diabetic. It's been horrible. This is literally all I'm up for posting right now. I'm going back to bed. Hope everyone is staying healthy. I'll post when this is all over with. But for now I'm going to pass out since my kids are asleep.
