21. Kaden

Paiges Pov:

I rub Harvey's face and Shuu. I look at each of my hubby's. I'm so thankful.
If Holly can coup, so can I! Nodding, I go with Winston to get bathed.

"Winston, can you help me. I'm sore.." I whisper in Winston's ear, not seductively more of a whine cause my body does hurt. He puts me in the tub of water. There's scattered flowers in the tub. Aww. I rub my flat stomach. Oh, I'm so naming my cub they can fight me on this! Hmm... boy names..
Winston rubs my body while cleaning me. I relax, leaning back into him.

"Winston, I love you. Thank you for talking to me when i was out. I heard a bit. I just couldn't open my eyes, though." I confess. He kisses my neck.

"Of course. I'm glad you heard me." He starts purring.

"You telling me I'm okay helped me a lot. I thought I was dying, but you kept telling me, so I felt better. I trust you all. So hearing that I knew I won't die."

"Of course you won't. We won't let you. We will follow wherever you go." I feel his lips on my jaw as he smells me his arms are around my waist. I rub his hands.

"I feel bad about the cubs, Winston. I know it wasn't anyone's fault but those males and Bai. I want to keep this cub, but what if I can't? What if my body rejects the cub." I speak my mind to him.

"If your body rejects the cub, then it happens, Paige. We won't blame you. We know you want it too. Nobody will be mad at you. It just tells us you do want cubs with us, and that will happen when you're ready. If your body isn't ready, this is how it tells us. Don't feel as if it's your fault for your bodies needs. We need you to be healthy. That's what's important. All you need to do is tell us what we can do to help, and we will do it. I know you feel like you need to help out on things for our home, but Paige, you haven't relaxed since we've been here. We need you to enjoy it, not stress. We understand you get bored. So tell us to find you small things to work on if you want or have Holly or Rosa come over. If it keeps you resting all the better. Even if you want to do those preening treatments with them." He slowly explains purring.

"Okay, Winston. You're right. Then, when everyone is healed, we will have Holly and Rosa here, and we will do a spa day. I promise I'll relax and let you all do the things we need. Maybe I'll work with the clay to help. I can make pottery sitting down."

"Good, I think that's a plan. I'll get you whatever clay you need then. A spa day?"

"Oh, a spa day is relaxing, face masks, preening as you call it and massages." I giggle.

"Hmm. Well, tell me what we need to make for that spa day, and we will."

"I think we will need a liquid soap, oils, and lava mud for some recipes I can point out the plants."

"Okay, but we will go with Damian. Sorry if we seem to not let you go anywhere without at least one of us who's stronger, but we almost lost you, and Bai might plan other things so until she's dealt with."

"I know, and I'm fine with it. Truthfully, I'm scared to go outside now.."

"We will be there whenever you want."

"Hey Winston, you're poking me..."

"Uh, sorry.." he shifts a bit, and we both laugh.

After being thoroughly pruned from being in the bath too long. We get out. Winston helps dry me off and gets me in a cute fur outfit he made for me. I look at him, surprised.
It's a very soft gray fur tube top with a cute gray and black silky fur shirt that goes to my knees. I have a new pair of sandals on too they are regular tan hide bottoms with the ties being the black fur. The fur is short, so it's not fluffy looking. It is cute, though.

"Did you make me this?"

"I did when you were out. The outfit from Harvey got ripped, so I figured I'd make this for you. I tried fixing the outfit from Harvey, but the top was completely destroyed. I'm sorry Paige."

"It's not your fault. I appreciate you trying to fix it for me. Maybe I can fix it with other furs added to it?."

"It's.. Paige, it's really destroyed."

"Oh. Well, can you go get me more white for so I can eventually get Harvey to make me another? Its.. special. All my outfits and the jewlry are very special to me."

"I can get them. I know Paige, that's why I held onto it."

"Thank you, Winston. Has Harvey woke up yet?"

"Not yet. we think he's getting his second stripe." Wow.. am I bad luck?

After we leave the bath room. I go to our living room where Shuu and Harvey are awake. I run to them.

"Harvey!!! Shuu!!!" I hug them both, and they tightly hold onto me too. I kiss them.

"Paige, I was so worried. I'm sorry." Shuu tells me.

"I'm so sorry Paige, I'm not strong enough." Harvey looks dejected.
I step away, examining them. Shuu still has cuts healing with bruising, and Harvey is fully healed with two stripes now.

"It's not your fault there is always going to be someone stronger out there.." I say.

"I think after they heal, we will start doing training days to get stronger. That way, we will be more ready." Damian says.
We all nod to that.

"I agree it will also build confidence." I tell them.

"Paige, this is my brother Kaden." Damian grabs my hand. I look over seeing a black haired man. His eyes are yellow, and his skin is pale. His hair is to his shoulder with a slight curl. He is for sure, of course, hot like every male here in this world. So he's a hydra. I'm actually excited to see a hydra.

"Hi.. thank you for saving us, Kaden. Um.. are you really a hydra? Can I see some time? I've always wanted to see one they are so cool. Can you breathe fire? How big are you?" I start asking excitedly.
Kaden just looks at me and starts to kind of smirk.

"Hydra? So you know what I am? Is that what they call my kind? Are you not scared of me?" He asks.

"Well.. no? Why would I be afraid of you? You're not going to attack me, right?"

"Right.. I would never."

"Then why should I be afraid? Oh my god, can you fly? Do both heads talk or just the one? How does that work?"
He laughs.

"Well, they both talk at the same time. It's hard to explain. I can show you later."

"Creepy and awesome. That's a deal then!" I smile.

"Paige, let's get you lying down in here, okay?" Damian leads me to a bunch of furs. I chuckle. I lay down with Shuu behind me and Harvey at my head. Kaden sits across, and Winston, Curtis, and Damian start doing things around the house.

"Harvey, can you not go to see patients for a bit? I'm worried you might get attacked. Can you just stay home with me please?" I look up at him.

"Of course, Paige. I'll stay home with you." He leans down and kisses me.

"You too Shuu your not going anywhere."

"Okay, Paige, I won't go anywhere."

"Hey Harvey?" I'm curious now..

"Yes?"

"Um, so when we were attacked by those males. Damian just showed up and saved me from thin air." I explain.

"That's because you called him. He's a pentra marked." We all look at Kaden in fascination.

"Oh yeah! That's right! I remember that I can summon my hubby if he has five stripes. Only if I feel like I'm about to die. I thought Damian was strong, but I didn't see any marks, so I figured his was hidden." I tell them while playing with Harvey's hair.
