66. Paws full

Winston's Pov:

We continue our search. Anything at this point would help. We stand at a decapitated home. There are four homes that now only are ruins. Just the foundation and a few partial walls. It was a fight, but this happened too long ago. There's no scent. Nothing here can tell us what happened. We decided to sleep here tonight. We set up the tent as we have been. Getting meat and doing our normal. Curtis seems in a sour mood. Him an Kaden have been talking lately. We see a few males walk up. We stay guarded and growl out a warning. These three males growl back, holding a female.

"Oh, Hi, I saw a dragon in the air. Was that you males?" Kaden grunts, giving a nod.

"Would you like to be my mate?" She asks.
We all growl out.

"We are all mated." Kaden sneers.

"Oh? Then where is your female? See, he's lying. Take him, and he will be my prized mate, " She says. Kaden roars a warning.

"Touch any of us, and your mates, and you will all die female. I'm a cast out dragon. Don't think because you're a female It will stop me. Or these ferals." Kaden growls. The female looks around at all the snakes her eyes get wide as she shreiks, and they all run. Bitch...
Shaking my head.

"Good bluff.. I could have killed it." Jed says boredly.

"It?" I ask.

"Yes, it.. those kind of cubs are it's they deserve nothing.. not to be treated like a female or male they are parasites. Cruel down to their every bone. Black as the tar pits. I don't mind killing it's." My eyes get wide.

"Have you?" Muir starts to ask.

"Of course I've had to before. I've met some cruel it's before. A female is supposed to be loved, are they not?" We nod.

"So if they are unlovable because of how cruel they are. The ones who steal males and force them to mate. They are no better than ferals, which means they are fair game to be treated any way I see fit. That's what happened with a good friend of mine. After she forced him to die. I killed it." I can see his point.. but I'm not comfortable with it, but if it was that Bai female, I can't say I wouldn't.
I can tell we're all thinking the same thing. So we nod.

We continue setting stuff up. Muir decided he's taking watch again.
Kaden decided he would sleep in his dragon form. A few of us laugh. We all know if that female comes back, he will most definitely kill her males. Kaden just perches on a boulder, hanging half off of it.
We sleep not too long after.

~morning~

We wake up early. We all go hunting. Then I stopped looking at Muir and Curtis.

"What is this? Do you feel it?" They nod.

"Yeah.. it's Paige. She's thinking of us." Curtis smirks.

"Uh.. I need to go get a bath.." Muir Flys off. I run off to the river, too.
I reach the water all four of us are in the river.
This is awful, but it's nice to know she wants us. After a bit, it stops. We get out to continue our hunting. All of us with a smirk.
I have no idea how that happened. How did Paige do it? When I get home, she will be ravished.
We get our food and decide to go to the closest villages to see if they know what way the ferals took her. That's exactly what we do.

Paige's Pove:

We set Faith down for a nap, tucking her blanket around her. In her abalone shell, it doesn't last, though, cause Shuu decides to hold her in his arms while she sleeps.

"Faith our precious cub." He whispers to her. I go over climbing Lucien's lap. Damian and Caspian go to catch fish. Harvey is asleep at my side.

"Do you want something, my beautiful mate?" I look at Lucien chuckling.

"I do. I need cuddles." He burys his face into my shoulder, smelling my scent. He slowly kisses my neck. Rubbing my belly.
We get another knock at the door, surprised because it's cold and raining heavily. I go answer it with Lucien. The Ape king is standing there, so I let him in.

"Hello, Ape King. How are you?" I ask.

"Hello Paige. I heard you're pregnant again. It's okay. Nobody needs to know how long ago you had your last cub. May I help check for you?" I look at Lucien.

"Okay, but this will not leave this home." He nods.

"Okay, I agree. May i?" I nod. He puts his hand over my stomach. We see a bright light. His eyes go white. He takes a deep breath and pulls his hand away.

"What is it?" I ask concerned.

"You're having three female cubs." Shaken, I stumble into Lucien's arms.

"Who's?" I ask.

"A Tiger cub, Snake cub, and a Leopard cub." Oh my god! Harvey smiles and rubs my stomach.

"You must be extremely careful a female to give this many females is rare and never have I seen a mixed litter."

"We know. She is very protected." The Ape King nods to us.

"Female, you're also pregnant? Can I check you?" Holly nods.
He does the same thing to Holly.

"You're having wolf cubs a litter of two congratulations. They are healthy males." I smile at Holly as Markus hugs her, picking her up.

"I heard you had your other cub. I'm very happy you were able to carry the pregnancy."

"Thank you, Ape King." I smile.

"You're very welcome, female. I must continue to check the females." He nods as we do, and he leaves.
Shuu walks over with his tail wagging.

"Three more female cubs.. wow.. we will need more shells." He laughs quietly not to wake up Faith in his arms.
Harvey hugs me, kissing my hair. His eyes misty.

"Thank you, Paige. Everything I've wanted I have." I hug him, snuggling into his arms.

"Well then, we need to get more things for our expecting cubs. I can't wait Paige, they all will be so beautiful." Lucien tells me.
Soon, Caspian and Damian get back with some huge fish. We tell them what happened.

"Paige, I'm so happy, my love. Four cubs we will have our hands full." Damian laughs. We all eat together talking about all of our plans. I hope Curtis and Winston get back soon so they know. I won't have these cubs until they are home. Hopefully...
