Paige's Pov:

I wake up sore. I sit up and see I'm in Curtis's arms. I reach up and lightly run my finger on his brow to his cheek down to his jaw, then lips. Smiling, I think how lucky I am. I see Shuu passed out on the other side of Curtis. I move my other hand lightly, rubbing his hair. Scanning the cave we're in, I see Lucien looking at me. So I put my hand out to him. He walks over and clasps my hand in his. I study his hand. He has long, delicate fingers and perfect nails. I pull him closer to me. Putting his hand on my cheek, I sit forward and lightly kiss his lips. They are soft and warm. When we part, I look into his beautiful purple eyes. But I noticed something. He truly loves me, and i have fallen for him too. I truly love this man just as i love my hubby's.  He has a beautiful smile. It is settled. I can't be without him.

"Come on, I'll help you get ready for the day." He ever so lightly picks me up. I wrap my arms around him and lay my head onto his chest. His heartbeat is fast.

"Thank you, Lucien." I whisper out because my throat hurts.

"Paige, it's my.." I put my finger to his lips.

"You saved me and Holly. You protected us. You also gave me a hint on how to use my mate marks. You've been nothing but sweet to me and helping my hubby's. You didn't fight with them. Also I fell in love with you. So when we have time to ourselves. When we're not in danger. I'd love for you to be my hubby as well. I want you to join my family. I feel like I'm home when I'm in my mates arms, and I feel that with you too." Biting my lip heat rises to my face.
Lucien smiles at me and kisses my finger. He moves his forehead to mine.

"I love you too. I would love to join your family, Paige." He kisses my cheek. Then we see Muir walk over to us.

"Hi Paige.. I'll go with you both to help keep a look out." I nod.

"Thank you, Muir." I say to him.

"Of course." He blushes.
We walk to a little stream where I get cleaned up and do my teeth brushing and wash my face and body. Trying to do my hair it hurts to move my neck too much. Feeling two warm arms behind me, I see Lucien's hand caress my lips, and I get an emrald put in my mouth. I look up fast at Lucien.

"Swallow it Paige this will heal you, so you're not in pain anymore." I swallow the liquid. I feel all my soreness leave my tense muscles. My throat feels normal finally. I kiss Lucien.
He helps me with my hair. I try to hand him my hair pin to stick in my hair, but he doesn't take it. After he's done, I turn around. I feel my hair with a round ball on it, and what feels like is sharp spikes from it? I look at Lucien, confused.

"Okay, turn around.." I turn..he pulls the pin out and shows me it. a green jade like stone for a stim, with pink crystal petals on it and at the end is a luminous pearl it's a gold color. Its a pink flower.I turn fast and hug him, giving him a kiss.

"It's beautiful, thank you." He chuckles.

"Paige, I'll have to redo your hair now, but I don't mind this instead." I chuckle.
I kiss him softly on the lips. This time, Lucien doesn't let me break away. He runs his hand up on the back of my neck into my hair and kisses me deeply. Its soft, and leave me breathless. I moan a bit into his kiss. He reaches my butt and I jump into his arms. I run my hands to each side of his jaw. Slightly, I bite his lower lip. Pushing his tongue into my mouth, I feel his hand grip my ass. He kisses down my jaw down my neck.

"Paige, don't tempt me.." huskily, he groans out with his deep, handsome voice. I moan again, lightly pulling his hair. He moans too. I feel the vibration from his chest. I want him, but he's right it's dangerous here. So I start to stop, but I feel his fingers at my entrance. I look up at him. Breathing hard.
