"Can you find one Muir?" I look at him. He looks worried but nods and heads out as fast as he can.

"She will be okay Paige. The doctor will come soon." I nod at akaden as he helps me wipe Faith down with a goat hide.
I notice a red spot on her it's a little bump.

"What is this?" I ask Kaden.

"Spider bite?" He asks. Just then the Ape King and Muir come in. He nods to me then walks over to check Faith.

"Ape King there's a red bump on her leg." I show him. He looks with a nod.

"She's been stung by something... whatever it is, this venom is out of my control to aid. I can make a drink to reduce the fever, but. Its sting has been at least an hour ago. I need to hopefully draw out the venom with a paste." The Ape King looks at me, and I tear up.

"Will she make it?" Damian asks.

"Not if the venom stays inside her body." I hold my tears in as the Ape king tells us the severity of Faith's situation. The Ape king starts mixing things together all the while I hold my baby girl. We kind of get her to drink as much of the liquid. My hubby's clean our room, and they find a little dug out hole in the wall. Where something must have crawled through. I help as best I can with what I can.

"Lucien, Muir.. bring back Harvey and Azrael.." I tell them. They nod, kissing Faith's head, running out the door.

"Winston.. check for more openings in the house, okay?" I ask him.

"Of course." He touches my head.

"I'll check the house, okay Paige?" Curtis tells me. I look at Faith, who's now asleep, but still in pain, you can tell.
Her face is red. I wiped the tears she had. The fox cub lies by her.

"Now we just wait." The Ape King says.

"Thank you.." I tell him.

"Paige.. Faith will be okay.." Damian tells me he holds us both. I nod once he holds us. I can't hold it in, and my tears just fall.
Hardest thing to do when you're a mother is watching your child hurting and you can do shit about it. It's something I'd never wish on anyone. How she must feel but can't tell me. All we can do is trust doctors. Even the crystals won't help.. not for venom..

I hold her, wiping away the heat from her head every few minutes. Her fever is still the same, and her body is looking pale. This sitting and not knowing is torture. I rub my baby's face. Trying to be brave. I hope they come back soon.
