92. Decided

Paige's Pov:

"Hey Lucien.. I've decided. I want to go to the Forbidden City. As soon as we can. We need to get ready with Rosa, Holly, and Sandy. We need to go now before I get bigger with pregnancy. We can't chance this again. I just want to go to the city and be safe there.." I tell him.

"Okay, Paige. Then we will let them know to pack. Then we can go, okay?" Lucien kisses my head. I hug him tightly.

"I'll stay with Faith and Paige. Harvey, you stay too. Muir get the others and let them know to pack and that we will all be leaving there soon." Damian tells Muir. He nods.

"Feather, we will be back later tonight then. I love you. Don't be stressed about the move. We can handle it all." Muir hugs me as he kisses my forehead.

"I love you too, be careful." Hugging him back, I start to feel relieved. Like a huge weight has been lifted. Soon, we can finally be home where we won't need to worry as much. I feel more excited to go. I'm still worried about Faith, but she's starting to stir and wake up. I go sit beside her. Taking her in my arms. Noticing her fever is gone and she looks to be healthy again. She looks tired from being sick, but other than that, she seems to be better. I start feeding her.

~1 Week later~

The week has passed by fairly quickly. My hubby's have been coming back to the cave tired. It seems they've been trying to keep up with all the things needing to be packed. I don't know the extent of what they are deciding to take with us, but it seems like a lot. Finally, the day has arrived, though, and now my nerves are hitting me. Muir walks me out of the cave back to our home, and that's when I realized what all they grabbed. Honestly, I can't hide the laughter. If it wasn't bolted down, it was taken. Kaden looks like he doubled in size. Damian looks packed full, too. There's a spot for all of us to sit on Kadens' back, but that's it. I see just tons of furs holding things tied to them. Including our cocoa trees and my bathtub. Pfff... Oh, how funny.
Curtis lifts me up and brings me onto Kadens back where everyone is. He cuddles me.

"After we get there, Paige, I need to hibernate.." I nod hugging him.

"So awesome now we finally get to see all the handsome fox dudes. I'm so excited. I wonder if they have sex magic." Only Rosa would think of something like that. I see Gage come over to me and sit down. Shuu is holding some clay pots, Azrael has his wooden box and also a pretty plant. Caspian is holding a sack of things and furs. Harvey has his pouch of things. Muir is ready to fly as well. Lucien is holding Faith, who is pulling his hair, but he just smiles at her. Winston is making sure everything is well tied. I cuddle with a few furs around me and Curtis. Holding him tightly.

"Hey, thank you for letting us go too, Paige. I'm so glad we're family." Holly tells me with a big smile. I see melody and her mate beside her. Parker is holding Elodie. Alva is beside them. I see all the familiar faces. My family. I smile happily. Thankful everyone is here to go with us.

The winds are cold. It gets colder as we get closer to the two mountains. The winds are so bad that we have to stop a lot because Damian and Kaden can't even fly against it very well. We decided to just walk the rest of the way because once we pass this mountain to the two behind it, the wind gets so bad nothing can fly in. I'm now starting to worry about my days of being an ice block. Curtis is looking tired, as is Jed, Max, and Jace. Holly, Rosa, Sandy, and I are taking shelter on Kadens back. They are still holding everything in their beast form. The guys are all in their beast forms walking. Luckily, we found a cave on the way to camp in. We eat from our dried meat and dehydrated vegetables. It's still freezing, but the fire Kaden made is huge, so it warms us pretty good. Faith is very bundled and warm. We thankfully made her a basket for our back to hold her better. The basket is full of warm, soft furs, and the top closes so Faith can sleep comfortably with no cold wind pelting her face. I cuddle Curtis to keep him as warm as I can.

~a week later~

A weeks travel that if there wasn't such severe weather conditions we could have arrived in a day. Before us is a grand large cave. This cave is so large that we can probably fit 12 jumbo jet planes in this cave. The cave has a massive tunnel at the end. We end up setting up a camp waiting for nighttime. Once it gets dark, we pack our things, heading down the tunnel. As we walk further, we start descending deeper into the black darkness, but before we light a torch or anything, we all notice a glowing trail. Lucien picks me up to get a closer look. I see tiny beautiful flowers they glow a light green color. The flowers are so small from a distance they look like moss.

"It's beautiful." I whisper out in awe.

"It is. These flowers grow in the city too. If you like them I'll get some for our home." Lucien hugs me.

"That would be amazing!" I tell him.
Winston walks up, holding Faith. Luckily, the further down we go, the warmer it gets.

"She wants her mother." I hug Winston, looking at Faith. She's wide awake chewing on a wooden carved wolf Shuu made her. I chuckle.

"She loves that toy." I rub her chubby cheek.

"She does. Our beautiful cub." Winston chuckles as he rubs his face on hers. She gives a very loud giggle. The fox cub is sitting on Winston's shoulder, just watching her his ears completely up. I pat his head. I'm so excited now to see this city, but I'm worried it will now be dark.

Hello it's been a bit again sorry. I've been busy like crazy had to take my son to get his echocardiogram. It's been so crazy and I have so many more Dr's visits this month and next just to get my sons heart surgery in gear. So if I'm not writing a lot that is why. ❤️ it's been quite the crazy start of the year. Also I have family from Indonesia coming to see me so that's fun. There's just so much this year. The goal this year is to get my son and my daughter in good health. To fix my sons heart issues hopefully. Everything is going at a very fast pace right now. So due to stress and everything else my updates will be a bit slower and random. Sleep right now is rare so I've been basically just exhausted. There is good days where I do have time though. I'm hoping by August everything is done so I'll have down time but I'm not sure if I'll get that it depends on how this surgery goes. Thank you for the patience and prayers. I really appreciate that. Plus I wouldn't be here writing and having a outlet if it wasn't for everybody here. Love you all! Hope everyone stays healthy and has a great year.
