67. Caved in

Damian's Pov:

Faith cries out we all wake up except Paige. She's tired. I go over to my cub, picking her up. She kicks her feet, which brings a smile to my face.

"Why are you awake, little one? Are you being playful this early?" I chuckle.
She's kicking still with a squeal she tries slobbering on her hand.

"Okay, cub, we'll go play so Mother can sleep." I grab her fur blanket. I head out of the room, Shuu, following us.

"Does she need maybe a change?" Shuu asks. I check shaking my head no.

"What about milk? I think she's hungry?" Shuu worriedly adds.
I rub her belly.

"No, she still seemed full form an hour ago. She just wants to play." I tell him.

"Oh well, we love playing with our little cub. I'll go get the wood toys." Shuu gets up, grabbing a basket of toys we all made her.

"Here chew on this one it's Father Damian's dragon form." Shuu hands her the wood dragon. I just laugh.

"Or you can chew on Father Shuus ears." I add.
We play with her, getting Faith to laugh. She likes Shuus ears grabbing them with all her might. Shuu doesnt mind he thinks it's cute. Eventually, Lucien joins us , putting his fluffy tails on Faith  and then lifting them up. She laughs loudly , loving the game. It wakes Parker up.

"Aww.. she's so tiny. Can I play too?" Parker asks us.

"Sure , but she's grabby on the ears , so be careful." Shuu tells him.

"I don't mind she's a cub she can grab uncles ears, too."
Soon, it's our whole morning a bit after we give her a bath, dress her in new clothes , and she falls asleep. So we just hold her until Paige wakes up. I really hope this is our morning thing. That we can play with our cubs while our mate sleeps so she's not so tired. I smile . What a perfect morning. Lucien goes to hunt, and Parker, Shuu, and I start breakfast. Shuu went to get milk and Parker to collect short bird eggs. I'm still holding my cub. She starts to get fussy if I put her down. She's a needy cub, but I enjoy holding her. Harvey comes out with a half asleep Paige in his arms Caspian following. They go to the bathroom.

Finally, everyone is awake at the table Holly sitting with her mates. Alva is sitting by Parker, who's holding Elodie. And I have Paige in my arms while she feeds Faith I feed Paige. It works well.

"Thank you for letting me sleep. I was so tired I really appreciate it." Paige tells us.

"That's okay, Paige. we had fun playing with Faith this morning. We're just glad you got sleep." Shuu rubs Paige's cheek. She smiles.

"Yeah, either way, we woke up in a good way. Faith was good. She loves ears." I explain kissing her head.

"You like ears, my little cutie? Did you get your dad's ears?" We look at Paige curious.

"Um.. dad is a father, and mom is a mother it's just a short word to say it." She explained to us. So... daddy.. oh, I chuckle.

"Daddy will remember this, Paige." I lowly whisper in her ear. Her face gets red, and she looks down, pretending she didn't hear my words, but she did. I stop myself from thinking anything about mating because our cub is here, as is Holly's family.
I'm so lucky. Finally, I have more than I've ever wanted.
Paige doubles over with a choking sound. Shuu takes Faith, and I check her. I notice Winston's and Muirs marks are bright. I hold her, getting us from the table. I take Paige into our room. Harvey, Caspian, Lucien, and Shuu follow. Faith is still in Shuu's arms.

"Paige? Are you okay?" I hold her trembling body.

"Paige, I have you." Harvey takes her rubbing her back. Wondering what happened I pace. Paige passes out in Harvey's arms.

"Paige!" We yell.

Muir's Pov:

I spot Winston hunting a deer. I fly up helping him spot prey. The storm is getting really bad. I see a flash of lightning that makes me blind for a second, so I decend. Then, the whole side of the mountain starts collapsing. Winston! I dive grabbing him. I try to fly up, but the mountain catches us boulders smashing into us. My wing breaks as we drop fast to the ground. Winston passes out from the hit. I drag Winston and myself in a cave. I flop down as I watch the whole cave entrance become covered with boulders. My vision gets dark as I begin to pass out. Blood.. the smell of blood.

I wake up in a dark forest. I see Paige. I run fast to her.

"Paige! My feather, I missed you so much." I grab her in my arms, kissing her head. She hugs me tightly.

"Muir, you need to wake up or Winston, and you will die. You're both hurt badly. Please wake up for me. I can't lose you both. Wake up! Get up!" She yells.

"I'm okay We're here." I tell her.

"Get up! Now, please right now!" I wake up with a cough. I hear crunching sounds. Shit! I grab Winston throwing the white tiger further into the cave as I hobble deeper where Winston is. The cave starts to collapse more. I start clawing the rock to find a way out but my one claw isn't enough. With my broken arm as well, i claw a little opening, pulling Winston in there with me. As the cave fully collapses. I fall down, breathing heavily. My arm aches more than when I broke it last time. Winston starts to move waking up.

"Muir? What.." he asks.

"We're under the mountain.. my arm and leg are broken. And your arm is broken too... we are stuck here. We need to dig our way out." I tell him. Paige saved us.

"Well, I can dig you rest Muir you look worse than me." I nod at him. Digging stone is not what birds are good at. Although carving, I'm good at but not huge areas of stone. I lean on the stone wall, breathing heavily. It hurts bad, but I won't ever admit it. I'm pretty sure Kaden and Curtis are digging us out, too. We hear more rocks falling. I close my eyes. Now let me dream of being home with Paige so I can at least hold her again.

Paige's Pov:

I wake up still feeling a bit of soreness from my mate marks, but they are at least still alive. I look up at Harvey.

"Hand me, Faith, our cub needs milk." They nod worriedly.
He'll I'm worried. Please Beast God protect them. Please watch over my hubby's and guide them. I pray.
Still sitting on Harvey's lap, I get Faith pulling down my dress top. I start feeding her. I rub her blue hair. I hear a low growl. I look up seeing Shuu.

"Not in front of our cub, hunny." I chuckle.

"I can't help it. You're beautiful, and every time I see you a bit naked, I want you. After the pregnancy, I hope I can get cubs. You're beautiful, but you are more beautiful when you're pregnant." I blush at his words.

"Shuu, I hope to give each of you cubs, but I will definitely need a break after this pregnancy." I kiss him.

"Of course, Paige, your body has to heal. I'm not in a rush, but when the time comes. Don't blame me for being full." My eyes get wide.

"You perverted wolf!" He nods. I just laugh.

"Yes, and next time, we will just do it in the tub. That way, it's a little clean up." Lucien whispers. The heat just rises from Mt chest up my cheeks.

"Mm, that will be so nice. Our little mate gasped for a break from our fun." Caspian agrees. I look at Harvey, who just grins. Damian laughs. Traitors.
I kiss Harvey's cheek.

"You know I'm liking the bathtub idea." They laugh at me. I giggle as best I can still miss my hubby's and now very worried.
