Harvey's Pov:
"What are earrings, Paige?" I wonder if it's something I can make.
"It's a small thin hook that goes in this hole on my ear, and it has a rope like thing with stuff hanging from it. But it can't be too heavy." She explained .
"Oh, I've seen those. Do you want us to make them for you, Paige?" Curtis asks.
"Um.. can each of you make a small charm to go on my earrings of your beast form?" Her eyes light up. I give a big smile. Always so sweet and kind.
"We can do that, Paige. I'll also make the earring part for you. Muir, Harvey can help they have good skill on carving." Lucien says.
"I'll be happy to help. Paige, you will stay with Lucien for right now while we look for stones." I tell her.
"Okay, be safe." Paige kisses each one of us. She yelps when Curtis grabs her butt.
I give her a playful smirk. Kissing her jaw. We get out of the tree excited we can give Paige what she wants, and what she wants is us as a carving to show off. It makes us even more proud. We are lucky.
Lucien Pov:
Paige goes over, hugging me. She nudes me to the furs with her. I let out a laugh.
"Is there something you need, Paige?"
"I want to cuddle my hubby. Also, I need to tell you about what that scorpion said. He's half right. I'm not from this world." She looks up at me, waiting for me to be angry, but I'm not. Not in the least.
"So the beast God brought a special female here just for me?" I smile at her.
Paige giggles.
"Well, just for my hubby's, yes. I guess?"
"Then I'm more honored to have you. I'm lucky to have the most amazing female Paige." I touch her cheek sitting on the furs. I pull her down with me on my lap.
"Paige, do you want to know a secret?" I ask her.
"Sure if you want to tell me." Her big eyes watch me in anticipation.
"Come here, then I'll show you." She crawls to me. I sit up and lift her in my arms, cradling her. Her skin is so soft. I take her out of the tree. We fly up and I show her the mountains far north.
"See those mountains?" I ask, pointing to the twin peeks. She squints but nods.
"Yes, I see them barely."
"The left mountain is scary,
but it's easier.
The right mountain is less wary,
but it makes you queasy.
If you go to the left mountain,
you will find,
a cave of wonder hidden inside.
If you manage the desperate climb,
To the right nothing,
but claim to your mind.
The left path you should take,
To the hidden fox king shall partake,
The city is full of beauty that hides,
From all the others' watchful eyes." I tell her. Her eyes widen.
"Wait, is that the way to the forbidden city? Why would you tell me this?" She asks, concerned.
"In case anything happens. You know where to go. If we lose eachother some how. I want you to go there and be safe." I hug her a bit tighter. This way is best. Just in case.
"But.. that won't happen. And if you're not there with me, how will I get in?" She starts shaking.
"I will try not to let that happen, but if it does, then you run there. Even if you have to have another male take you there. They will let you in. You tell them my name. They won't deny you. Once you're there you will stay at our place. Do everything you must. They won't say no to you. And... for a bit of extra, my brother means well, but he can be a bit of a horses ass.. so you can trust him even though he seems untrustworthy. We do fight a bit." I chuckle.
"So go to the left mountain even though it seems deadly to find a cave and go in. Then I'll see the city?" She asks.
"Not just any cave. It's a cave that looks endless. It's cold and dark. But you won't need light. Only at night time a path will light up. Just follow it. But you need to bring food. It is a long cave. Also Paige I'll know where you are at all times. Especially in the City. So if that happens. Don't feel sad cause I'll feel it. Just be happy and I'll come to you." I promise.
"I don't like this conversation. You sound like your dying." She says I laugh.
"No Paige it's just a back up plan in case. I'm not going to die I promise." There's only one place a snow fox can die is in the forbidden city.
"You pinky promise?" What does that mean. Paige holds her pinky out.
"Whats a pinky promise?" Curiously I ask her.
"It's a promise a big promise like a oath if you break it, your worst fears come true. So do you pinky promise?" She asked me again. Worst fears? Paige dying is my worst fear. Can I promise on Paiges life?
"Paige... what if it's my second worst fear. Can we do that one instead?"
"No it's always the worst one. So promise me?" She still has her pinky out.
"I cant.." I look down.
"Why? So something will happen then?" She starts to shake.
"Nothing will happen I just can't make a promise on your life." I tell her. Her eyes look at me with understanding.
"Fine. second worst fear then. Now will you pinky promise?" Her pinky still held up. I nod she takes her pinky and loops it with mine and kisses her thumb.
I copy her.
"Pinky promise." I say. Second worst fear would be stuck with Cindy.. eww... yuck.. my face shows my disgust.
"What fear is it anyways?" She asks me.
"To be stuck with a female named Cindy. You'll see why.. yuck. Now you owe me. You need to help me remove that thought from my head." She nods kissing me.
After a bit the others come back. Paige is laying on me sleeping. I nod to them.
They have collected enough stone. So we all get to work carving small animals that are thin and light weight. After mine I start on the earring hook size. So I carve a very thin hook and test it in her ear. It fits perfectly I make three more incase she ever wants another pair.
Muir makes a few stone chains very small. Don't ask me how but he did.
Harvey makes loops using the malleable
Gold rock. We put our animals on the gold rock and attach the earrings. I look at them the hook is made of a light pink stone, from the hook there is stone chain of crystal going down. It has eight chains that go to the gold rock circles to each of our animal. They look good. Mine is a white fox, Curtis is a red stone snake ect.
I wake Paige up. She yawns and stretches.
Paiges Pov:
My cheek gets poked and I wake up still groggy. I look up after stretching to see Lucien and Harvey.
"Here's earrings Paige do you like them?" I get two beautiful earrings. They are gorgeous. Pink crystal with gold. They have each animal their color. They are perfectly carved.
"These are the most beautiful pair of earrings I have ever had. Thank you. I will cherish these forever." I give each hubby's huge hugs and kisses. I put the earrings in and I start to walk to the tree opening. It's almost time to go to the bonfire, but I get pulled back.
"Paige your hair is a mess again. We can fix it." Shuu tells me. I nod.
"Thank you Shuu." I giggle.
