82. Burning Blood

Paige's Pov:

I go in the room and hug Lucien from behind. I rest my head between his shoulder blades. Damn I'm too short.

"My love?" I whisper.

"Heh.. don't worry, Paige. It's not a huge deal that I don't know one secret..." Lucien says. Liar...

"Go ahead.." I say.

"Really?" Lucien asks. I touch his long, beautiful hair. Hehe, silly hubby.

"Yes, then tell me what it is." I let go of him. He turns, kissing my forehead with a smile he turns to a small little white fox and dissappears. Knew it..

"Bun, thank you for tonight. I'm so glad you love my mother and father like I do. I'm so very thankful you take the time for them." I hug Shuu.

"Of course their my mother and father too now. I always wanted parents." I hug him a bit tighter.

"Well, I think they love you more than me." We look at each other and laugh.

"Silly, they love you so much, Shuu." I smile. I'm glad he has an amazing family.

"Well, mother told me that she loves you the most and to not disappoint her... and to have cubs.. also to..." I kiss him. He's so funny.

"Shuu, you're not disappointing anyone. Trust me. Also, I love you so much, and we will have cubs after these cubs and lots of healing, okay?" I touch his jaw.

"I can't wait to have our own little pups running around. Chewing on things. Or.. maybe not the chewing part." I laugh.

"Okay, no chewing. But I can imagine they'd be adorable." I move his hair out of his face. He lifts me up. I wrap my legs around him.

"Um, Shuu... I have to pee..." I tell him. He laughs while carrying me to the bathroom. I do my thing wash up. Then we go back to our room where all my hubby's except Lucien is. Azrael still sleeps in the other room.
I get laid on my back, ready to sleep when a little giggle is heard at the side of the bed. Damian gets up. Cradling a warm bundled up Faith.

"Okay, bring her here. I'll feed her." I chuckle. I look at Faith, who's wide awake. So I start to feed her while rubbing her head until she's out.

"I'll take her to her bed." Caspian whispers. I nodded, handing her to him.
After we lay down, he gets comfortable.
We all drift off.

~Later that night~

I get up wanting water. I'm surprised my hubby's are still out. I get out of bed, peak out into the dark living room. Oh... I hate this so much. I grab my luminous pearl and a stick. I slink out of the room. Slowly quietly walking.

"What are you doing, Paige?" I turn around scared until I see those red familiar eyes. Luckily, he grabbed the stick.

"Haa... you scared me damn it... well, I'm getting water to drink. But I'm scared cause I was abducted once from my house." I tell him.

"Then wake us up. We can easily get you water, you know that, right?" I sigh..

"But I hate waking everyone up.. after all the tiring things you all do each day. You deserve good sleep." I explain, looking at his blushing face.

"Paige, I'd climb a damn mountain in the middle of the night for you.. I'm sure they feel the same way. We don't get tired as easily as you think." I give him a questioning look.

"But.." I start to say.

"Hmm.. you're sweet." He covers his face with his arm again, blushing. I pull his arm down, and he lets me still looking away. I study his face the best I can with only the light of the luminous pearl. I trace his jaw lightly.

"Are you so shy you can't even look at me?" I ask. He grabs my hand, pulling me to the kitchen. I just silently smile. He gets me a cup. I watch him. I grab a jar of dried fruits, too.

"Do you want some?" I ask him.

"Um.. no." I giggle at his reaction. Bringing me a cup of water. I sit them at the table. He sits down. So I sit on his lap.

"P.. Paige?" He stutters.

"What? I don't have cushions for the chairs yet, so I always sit on my mate's laps." He nods. Ehehehe..
I grab a piece of fruit from the jar. I take a bite, looking up at him. His adam's apple bobs up and down a bit. I turn twords him.

"Do you really not want some fruit?" I ask.

"No.." He adds. So I take a piece from the jar. I put it to his lips. He goes to take a bite, and I pull it away. I do this a few times as we laugh. Now or never. I kiss him. He freezes. I catch him off guard. I rub his lips with the tip of my tongue. He has no idea what to do. So I grind against him a bit. He breathed in from shock as I deepened our kiss. I explore his mouth. I pull his hands to my body. I lightly pull away.

"Azrael? Do you really want me?" I look at him, his eyes darken.

"Y..yes.. what do I do, though?" I kiss him more and rub down his chest.
His fingers gently rub in my hair. He kisses me back deeply. His tongue licks mine slowly, caressing. I feel breathless. His soft touch in my hair caresses down my neck, giving me shivers.

"Paige.." His breathing unsteady like mine. I feel his heart beating uncontrollably in his chest.

"Mm?" I dazedly look at him.

"I got you something. You can't tell anyone, okay?" His gruff low voice whispering close to my ear.

"But I tell my hubby's everything." I explain.

"Yes, I know this, but they won't mind this time, okay?" Umm..

"I don't know... what if you don't tell me what it is so I don't feel guilty." I ask him.
He chuckles.

"So sweet. Okay then, I won't tell you. But you need to drink it, okay? No questions. All I'll tell you is it won't harm you or the cubs. It's good to drink it." He caressed my hair.

"Okay then." I look at him giggling.
He hands me a little jade, looking jar with a cork on it. I open it, looking at the glowing blue liquid. It smells like something I've never smelt before. What is this?

"Well, now I wish I knew..." He chuckles.

"Well, now im not telling you." I laugh.
The jar looks old. It has a picture of a sun carved into it. Okay.. bottoms up. I drink it down. It taste like a strong alcohol and burns a bit going down. God I hope he didn't give me alcohol.. the who bottle is emptied in my hand. I start coughing from the burn. I get a bit tired everything starts to get hazy as I slump into his arms falling asleep.

Love you all thank you so much for the get wells. Family is doing better but son is still very sick.. <3 being sick for him is deadly so I will only write when I can until he's better. Thank you for understanding. I really do appreciate it. He is showing signs of getting better but it will take him a while to recover. He has two very awful medical issues from
pneumonia can cause his lungs to collapse so we are being extremely careful on top of that he's diabetic so it's very rough on him. Thank you for everyone's patience. <3 I'm so very thankful for you all. I hope everyone takes care and stays healthy! This new years is cold so please stay warm health is important so please take care!
