76. Confiding

Kaden's Pov:

The poison doctor in my house.. if it wasn't for the poisons he makes my father would still be alive. I know it's not his fault. He didn't know who'd get ahold of the stuff, but damn it! I can't not hate him. I hate that because he made dragons bain, my father is dead. I hate that he made it.. I hate it all. I know I've done a few things I regret. I don't know how to move past it. I need to talk to Paige about it. So at least she can understand why I have trouble with him. So she won't think it's her fault. She did tell me I could talk to her whenever I needed to. So I walk over and pick her up. Curtis takes our cub.

"Yeah, well, if you hear moaning in this room, stay away." I grit out lowly. I see Azrael smile and nod, accepting how I treat him. I walk us to the bathroom. It's secluded, and nobody can hear if need be. I sit in the tub with Paige. No water just sitting.

"So? What's wrong, my love?" She asks me.

"You can tell?" I ask.

"Well, of course, so tell me. What's bothering you?" She leans back onto me. I kiss her head.

"So remember I told you how my father died? He was killed by a strong poison called Dragons Bain." I tell her. Paige sits up, looking at me.

"But he died a very long time ago.." I nod.

"Yes, and the Peacock leader and his mother are very old even Azrael. Do you think a 20-season old male can master poison and venoms? His brothers are all dead but this new nest. Alva is very young but Azrael is very old. He gave his mother beast and father beast emralds to pay them to try and get their love. He got those for payment from the things he makes. He can kill any beast.. I think the only one that can kill him is Lucien. Don't let his three stripes full you." Kaden explained.

"That's insane.. I believe you, but it's crazy to think he's that old." I look into her eyes.

"He's older than that, Paige.. older than me, I think he's way younger than Lucien but older than me."

"He'd have to have ate a ton of emralds.." She says.

"Well, that's why some think the life spring is real. A water that gives you a very long life. I think he found it. A male obsessed with concoctions He'd be the one who most likely found it." I add.

"He did.." Paige jumps from Lucien accidentally scaring her.

"He did? There's such a thing? We had one in our world called the fountain of youth." Paige says.

"This spring, the water travels up into the sky. It's where the winter fox guards our secrets. That's why I told you not to worry about old age. I told you I wouldn't let that happen. Us fox drink of it, then we go into a deep slumber. I owed him the drink... that peacock saved my brother, who is all I have left. So I gave him the offer he couldn't refuse. The one and only spring of life. He took a bowl. He made an oath to never speak about it. It's a very highly sought-after spring. See my beautiful mate. When we fled from the war, we were given a dream to build a forbidden city. We did move there. Our Beast God told us that he would make us guardians of the spring of life. Then it spouted from the ice. It made our land guarded by deadly ice but inside like a fertal valley. That's why we must go there. Our cubs, you, all of our family can drink of the spring and live together. I want you to live with me until we decide to sleep." Paige smiles, hugging him.

"I want that too." Paige says. So do I. It sounds really good.

"So Kaden the dragon Bain, by the way, was stolen from Azrael. He did make it. I'll give you that, but it was taken from him and used for the dragon war. So.. you think of something that he needs to do for forgiveness and tell him. You're smart. I believe there's something." Lucien tells me.
Okay.. he's right.. hmm... I got it. That would make us accept him.
I nod. Lucien leaves.

"So... do you feel a bit better, Kaden?" Paige asks. I pout.

"I can think of something that can make me feel better." I grin smelling her scent on her neck.

"Well, at least we're in the bathtub." She giggles. I start kissing her.

~one hour later~

I help Paige get cleaned everything.
I do her hair, still kissing her here or there. She's intoxicating..

"Kaden.. we already did it." She whispers.

"I can't help it. Your scent drives me wild." I suck her neck.

"Yeah, well, I have to put up with these crazy hormones, yet I still control myself." She tells me. I chuckle.

"Barely.." I laugh. Paige just pouts. Her cheeks look like a chipmunks when she pouts. It's very endearing.
I squeeze her cheeks letting out the air as I chuckle.

"You..." I kiss her puckered lips softly pushing my tongue in my mouth. Finding her tongue I rub mine against hers. Paige leans on me wrapping her arms around my neck. Her fingers softly run through my hair. I grab her ass and my other arm I rub her jaw. She smells so good. I hear her stomach growl so I break the kiss. I rest my forehead against hers.

"Let's get you and our cubs fed." I tell her lightly kissing her. I pick up my aroused beautiful girl. I hold her gently making sure I don't hurt our cubs. I look at Paige which brings a smile to my face. She's glowing. She looks so beautiful pregnant. I walk Paige to the kitchen table and sit with Paige still straddling me. Oh? She can't turn around to eat? Does this mean I get to feed her? I snicker.

"Don't worry love ill feed you." I whisper in her ear that starts to turn red. I smirk at her teasingly.

"Okay then you can feed me." She says breathy whispering back. She grins as she moves a bit.

"Paige.. stop.." I groan to her.

"Oh I'm just getting comfortable before I eat." She hugs me still adjusting. Oh god... I try holding myself back.

"I'll really feed you if you don't stop in front of everyone." I whisper lowly to her.

"Difference is we wouldn't be just watching after a bit." Muir pipes in.
Paige's face goes crimson as she pouts more.

"Now be a good girl and eat." I tell her.
