63. Dinner with Mother

Paige's Pov:

Shuu, Lucien, Caspian, and Harvey get me ready. They decided to help me with my hair and my clothes. I put on my pretty black dress Kaden made me. My hubby's braid my hair and put half into a small bun that looks like a rose. They pin it with all of my hair pins sticking out. It's very pretty. I put my earrings on and my bracelet. Also, my pearl necklace Rosa got me. I give them all kisses. When we come out, I see Damian holding our egg with a grin. I walk over, hugging him from behind bent over. Kissing his neck lightly.

"She will be so beautiful, Paige. Hopefully, she looks more like you." I chuckle. Gosh, I hope our cubs look equally like us, but I hope her eyes look like his.

Holly's Pov:

Parker hands me a cute light yellowish cow hide dress. It's very cute. I pair it with a bracelet. Markus made me. It has pink flowers on it. It's bright and cute. I put my hair in a half pony tail like Paige showed me.

"I made one for Elodie, too. It matches." He hands me a cute cow hide dress the same color. So I dress Elodie up in it. I put her hair in pig tails like Paige did with her hair last time she looks so cute.

"Elodie, you look so pretty!" I take her hand, and we go to the living room. We all are dressed and ready.
We hear a knock and Shuu answers. We see the Wolf Queen being carried by her Wolf King mate. All her other mates come in, too.

"Oh my look at the cubs!" She goes and hugs Elodie and Rosa's wolf cubs. Then she hugged Paige, Rosa, and then me. I chuckle.

Paige's Pov:

"How are you doing?" I ask her.

"I'm doing very good, although I hoped it would stay clear and sunny a bit longer. I hate this dreadful rainy season." She tells us.

"I know it.. it's been hard to go pee anywhere without my ass feeling numb from the cold. I'm not looking forward to the cold season." Rosa says. I hold myself from laughing, but the Wolf Queen just laughs. She's definitely used to Rosa talking like she does. Even in the meeting, she was this way.

"Yeah, I've had the same issue." Mother tells us. We all sit down as all our hubby's start cooking the meat and vegetables. Luckily, the bread just needs to be popped into the clay oven with the desserts.

"That's why I'm going to ask my mates to make me a out house. It's a small wood little room with a roof and you go in there. That way, you won't freeze, and you will have enough privacy from others." I explain

"That's a great idea! When your mates build it, please teach one of my mates too." Mother asks. I wish I knew her name.. Shuu and I go to get drinks ready. 

"Shuu, what's your mother and father's name?" I ask him.

"Oh! Heh.. my mother is Sandy and my father is Russ." I nod, oh!

"Oh, okay, I like your mother's name." He smiles. I get the drinks ready with Shuu, but he doesn't let me carry them. So Harvey helps bring them out.

"That reminds me me and Shuu made you a few things. I hope you like them." Damian sets a wood box down for her.

"Oh, you didn't have to, but I'm a sucker for gifts. Thank you, my cubs." Aww, she called me her cub. I smile.
She opens it with a squeal of excitement.

"Oh, it's beautiful. I love this so much! Look Russ, Kevin." Smiling, she gets up and holds the dress to her. It's a wrap around dress cause I didn't know her size, but it will look very gorgeous on her. She pulls the jewlry out, and Shuu helps her.

"Mother, those look very pretty on you. Paige is really good at designing clothes." Rosa tells her. I smile at the compliment. I would agree it is something I have always been interested in but never got to do it.

"Wow, I love the detail in these wolves' cub. Thank you both so much! I am so proud of my cubs. Oh Paige, I heard you're pregnant. Is there any chance you can go see the Ape king to find out who's?" She asks. My face heats up.

"Mother..." Shuu looks distressed. He looks at his father's.

"Shuu?" Sandy asks him.

"If I tell it will be you and father and not Barry.. He can't keep secrets." Shuu says.

"Okay then, the rest of my mates, why don't all of you go and bring me fruits." Sandy smiles. Barry gruffs a bit.

"Sorry, I just can't tell in front of him." Shuu looks at me as if asking permission. I grab Mother's hand.

"Mother, we think I might have a mixed litter." I explain.

"What?" Russ asks, looking at me.

"Eh! Oh wow, that's never happened! No no no you need to stay inside and not go around any males at all. This can not be known by anyone! If you need help, I'll.." I pat her hand.

"No worries, Mother, we will take every precaution we can." I tell her. She hugs me.

"Russ, you give the beast God a oath. You won't say a word. If my female cub is harmed, I'll be hunting a mate!" Sandy tells him. He chuckles his smile, reaching his eyes.

"I swear to the Beast God I will speak nothing of Paige's pregnancy being a mix litter or any harmful details about the cubs." I smile, and so does Shuu.
Eventually, Sandy's mates come back. They dry off and warm up.

"Paige, my love dinner." Lucien picks me up. We all get to the big wood table. Sitting down, we eat. We hear a lot of praise about the food which has our mates happy. I sit on Caspian's lap.

"My beautiful Paige, this position brings back memories." Oh my god! Caspian whispers in my ear. My face gets heated like a tomato. As Caspian rubs my stomach, giving a light chuckle. I look up at him, my eyes wide. Shuu just burst out laughing. Everyone curiously looks at him, then me.

"Sorry, Mother Paige is shy." Shuu says.

"I'll say.. she can't even say sex without exploding into a ripe red fruit." Rosa says.

"Oh, common, not everyone can be like you, Rosa." We laugh from Holly's comment.
Dinner goes really well, and eventually, Sandy and her mates go back to their home because it starts to get dark.
