60. Holly's Cub

Paiges Pov:

After getting ready we head to the Tribe Leaders house. Which ends up being Rosa's. We get inside I go sit by Rosa and Shuu's Mother. Also the leopard kings mate and Tiger kings mate.

"Oh Paige! Sit with us all. This will be fun now your added to these meetings and so am I." Rosa tells me.

"Yeah this is a first time for me a actually not to long ago I found out Lucien is king of the forbidden City." I scratch my head.

"So your mates are very powerful that's good. All of the Kings need to have males they can trust beside them." Rosa's mother says.

"Yes I agree that's why my mates are powerful not just that but I love how strong they are too." Leopard Queen says.

"So how long will you be staying in the village Mother?" I ask Shuus mom.

"Oh we heard from Shuu and Lucien that we can join the Forbidden City with all of you. So we plan to go there." I grin.

"That's great!" I say.
The leopard Queen smiles. At our interaction.

"I would but Parker isn't our only cub. They can always visit us, but I think it's great he got a good mate." Now I'm curious.

"So I'm kind of curious.. did anyone see Bai after the feral attack?"

"Oh you didn't hear. She was spotted by some of our scouts at the Flame City." Oh no.. I hope she's not treated badly.
After the meeting and we head to Holly's home. Knocking Jed answers the door.

"Hi we need to speak to Holly." He nods letting us in.

"Hi Paige how are you?" I smile.

"We are good how are you?"

"I'm doing good what did you need to talk to me about?" She giggles.

"Well my hubby's and I think it's perfect timing to find your daughter so. You, Markus, and Parker will stay with me. I'll send Muir, Winston, Kaden, and Curtis with Jed and Kai." her Buffalo mates name is Kai. I found out from Rosa, who knows all the gossip.
She nods in agreement. We pack Holly up and Elodie of all the things they need. My hubby's nod. We all head back to my place. Once we get there my hubby's get ready to go. I kiss each of them.

"Be careful and don't risk your life. If it's to dangerous come home. If any of you die I'll find you and you'll wish you didn't!" I hug them each for a while.

"Don't worry feather we will come back with Holly's female cub and alive." I nod.

"You better." I tell them. They all head off with things they need.
Me and Holly look at eachother worried. I hope this goes well.
They went to Rosa's house too she's sending Max and Jace. Let's hope.

I sit down with Holly and we both decided we will make clothes for our hubby's. Caspian sits by me making a charm to add to my earrings cause I told him he had to add them. Heh.

We sew and make fur blankets too. We start getting ready for cold season. Even Shuu got us wheat and Rice. Lucien is smoking more meat as Harvey is keeping our cub warm. I smile then my face falls.. damn it!! Kaden forgot to tell me what the scents meant from the cubs...

I lay my head on Caspian's head.
I pray to the Beast God that they are all safe and so are we.
Parker has been hunting too and helping smoke meat so we are making a big stockpile for Rosa and Holly. That way we will all be okay during cold season.
We ended up having to make a smoke house cause the meat wouldn't all fit.

We've been stocking up on fruits and vegetables, cheese and butter, eggs, herbs, spices, and wood. It's been insane.. we filled up our storage room, half of the spare room, and our kitchen. It's incredible, but you can't ever be over prepared. Also we got a lot of salt from the dead mer clan thanks to Curtis going there. Now all my halls and rooms are lit up pretty well too.

My hubby's start teaching Rosa's, and Holly's mates how to make things. Also how to prepare for the cold season.

"So Holly is Alec the mate Rosa peed on?" She laughs.

"Yes!" We burst into laughter.

"Wow and he was okay with that?" I ask.
Harvey speaks up.

"Most males don't mind their females marking them Paige." I laugh so much falling into Caspian's arms looking at him.

"I wouldn't." Caspian says and we all burst.
At this point me and Holly start making dinner I show her the way to make the boar meat and rice. She loves this recipe it's one of her favorites.
We set up the food get everything ready.
Damian, Shuu, Harvey, Lucien, and Caspian all sit with me. Parker and Markus sit by Holly as we eat.
We joke most of the night.

"I'm making something for my mother the Wolf Queen. I think a outfit and jewelry would be cute. Any ideas Holly?"

"Hmm.. maybe also your soap idea and a few combs. I think she would really like all of that."

"That's a good idea. I think so too. Shuu what color does your Mother like?" I ask.

"She likes blue and purples." He smiles his tail starts wagging.

"Oh perfect! The jewlry can be purple and blue stones. And the outfit I'm thinking black or like a blueish tinted fur. It would be cute."

"She will love anything Paige. My sweet mate." Shuu kisses my cheek.

"She would she's sweet. She kept asking when I'll give you cubs. I thought that was a bit funny. No telling now since we all.. herm.." I cough.
Shuu chuckles rubbing my stomach.

"No she means any cubs you have are her grand cubs. She doesn't mind if it's our litter or not Paige." I nod smiling.

"Well I told her about the egg." He nods.

"Good she will be very spoiled trust me."

"I hope not rotten..." I add.
Holly nods.

"Definitely not rotten those females are horrible."

"Yeah Eudora was pretty bad."

"She is!" Holly tells me.
