So I just had surgery yesterday on my hand again so typing this one handed kinda sucks but like whattttt???
A while ago like a good long while ago i posted a video on TikTok about the struggles of coming up with chapter titles and today someone commented "this is only applicable to romance (my opinion)"
Excuse me? I asked if they ment the song or chapter titles but neither makes any sense bc people use songs for anything on TikTok and chapters titles of anything are a fantasy thing but are for all genres.
They said chapter titles.
Like what are we even talking about right now. You are saying chapter titles are only for romance like what? And like I feel like I can't even fight back, cause they slapped on "my opinion" at the end so it's like I feel like I'm gonna be like some raging bitch if I reply back with like "well no" because they did say it was their opinion at the same time like just ugggh.
So I'm ranting about it here.
Like how does that even make sense i feel romances barely have chapter titles.
And like no one asked for their opinion anyway
Chapter titles only being for romance? Chapter titles? Every novel has chapters. What's next are character names only for fantasy? Things like chapter titles should not be limited by genre.
And out of all genres you say romance. The only genre that I actually despise. The genre that I refuse to read and write for my own sanity.
And like logically limiting chapter titles to romance is the least logical bc fantasy chapter titles can be so creative.
Like "this is only applicable to romance"🙄 nobody asked and also you're like the only one who thinks that so like what the fuck.
I'm just upset like why like why like what's the logic behind limiting chapter titles to only one genre and of all genres, romance and like maybe I'm just biased because I don't like that but like that's like the one that I feel I never see each chapter titles for like I haven't read one in forever, but like I know like people like post stuff like about what they read and it just looks like chapter numbers to me with romance books.
Also, I thought I would try using voice to speech so I wouldn't have to type one handed, but it's not really working so fuck that I guess.
