You sat at the bottom of the pool, legs and arms crossed. Jackson sat across from you, blowing bubbles in the water. You ran out of air, and resurfaced. Jackson followed you up.
"Okay," you said as his head emerged from the water. "You win."
"I told you I would," he swam over to you.
You smiled and wrapped your arms around his neck. "I didn't realize how dark it was," you looked up at the sky. "What time are your parents coming home?"
"About an hour," Jackson kissed you.
"That was weak," you said, kissing him again.
"Oh, that was awful," he pulled back laughing. "Kissing contest?"
"You go first," you smiled.
Jackson put his hands in your wet hair, and gave you a long, passionate kiss.
"I can do better," you said.
"I'd love to see that," he smirked.
Taking a big breath of air, you went back under the water. Jackson submerged as well, eyes closed underneath the surface. You squinted, placed your hands on his face, and planted a kiss right on his lips.
You both went back above the water, and Jackson pretended to glare at you. "It's all tied up now."
"Diving board competition?" You asked.
"Diving board competition," he said, climbing out of the pool. You watched as Jackson made his way onto the diving board. He placed his hands on the bars, took a deep breath, and did a cannonball into the water. You giggled as he swam into the shallow end.
"My turn," you got out of the warm pool and faced the cold air. Shivering, you stepped up onto the board, and did a bellyflop into the water.
You whined as you raised your head out of the water. Jackson laughed hysterically. "Are you okay?"
"I've been shot," you groaned.
Jackson swam into the deep end, grabbed you by the waist and placed another kiss on your lips. "I love you," he whispered in your ear.
"I love you," you said back.
"We should get out of the pool," Jackson said.
"But it's cold," you said.
"I'll get your towel," Jackson let go of you, swam over to the edge and pulled himself out of the water. He wrapped his own towel around his waist, grabbed yours, and came back to the edge. "Come on," he held his hand out.
You swam over to him, and frowned. "I don't want to get out."
"Please," he said.
You took his hand and tugged on it. "It's warm in here."
"Please," he begged. "I have something to show you."
You relented, and allowed him to help you out of the pool. He wrapped the towel around your shoulders, and took you by the hand. He led you into the grass.
"What are you showing me?" You asked him.
He stopped walking, and got down on one knee. Your eyes widened when you realized what he was doing.
"[Y/N]," he said. "You love more than one person in your lifetime, but there's only one person out there you can call your soulmate. And that's you." He cleared his throat, pulled a box out from behind his back, and opened it to reveal an enormous diamond. "So will you do me the honor of marrying me?"
"Yes!" You said excitedly. "I do, I do, I do!"
Jackson smiled, slipping the ring onto your finger and standing up. You threw your arms around his, and he spun you around.
"I love you," you smiled.
"I love you," he smiled back.
