"[Y/N]," I slapped her face lightly. "Wake up."

She remained unconscious in the middle of the school hallway. I had two options: save her life like she had saved mine so many times before, or sprint away and save myself. Her being Scott's little sister, the second option wasn't a contender. The second option seemed even less doable considering the fact that I had a mad crush on her.

I heard the sound of something falling on the second floor, the sound of Kali and Ennis breaking out of the classroom [Y/N] had trapped them in before she randomly decided to collapse in the middle of our life and death situation

"Come on, little wolf," I said, grabbing her underarms and pulling her halfway off the ground.

Another large thud came from upstairs, terrifying me.

"Now would be a really good time for you to wake up," I said. "Please."

I started walking backwards down the hallway, concentrating on the sound of her feet sliding across the floor. A third sound came from upstairs, and two sets of footsteps moved down the stairs.

"We're gonna die," I said, picking up the pace. "Wake up!

Ennis and Kali emerged at the bottom of the stairs. A smile tugged on Kali's lips when she saw me dragging an unconscious [Y/N]. She took hands with Ennis and started sprinting towards us. Unable to look and unable to take my eyes away, I squinted and stood frozen in place.

I watched as Kali hissed. I watched as Ennis roared. And then I watched as they both fell to the ground in the exact spot [Y/N] had.

"Shit," I laughed. "We're alive! No thanks to you."

I continued to drag her down the hall, eventually reaching the front doors.

"Oh, the sweet light of day!" I exaggerated. "Thank God for invisible wolfsbane clouds or whatever supernatural thing that was."

I laid her down on the front step and kneeled down next to her. I shook her in hopes of waking her.

"I don't think they're going to stay unconscious forever," I said. "So now would be a good time to wake up."

I looked over her body; her chest was moving up and down slowly. I checked her wrist for a pulse, which was obviously there.

I looked down at her innocent face, leaned down over her, and kissed her on the forehead.

"Stiles," her voice came. "What are you doing?"

I sat up as quickly as I could.

"What am I doing?" I raised my eyebrows. "I'm saving your life, that's what I'm doing."

She sat up slowly. "You saved my life?"

"Yeah, it was nothing."

"Well, I don't know how to thank you."

"You don't have to say anything."

"Okay," she put her hand on my cheek, and kissed me. "I won't."
