Author's Note:
I thought I was going to finish this a lot later, but I had an idea for something else so I wanted to get this up today. This was requested by E-Alan."Move," Athena said, shoving you against your locker, and causing you to drop your books.
You sighed and squatted down to pick it up, but froze when two feet appeared in front of you.
"Now that wasn't very nice," he cooed, bending down to help you gather your stuff, and not giving you a clear look at his face.
"Thanks," you grumbled, grabbing your schoolwork out of his hands. You straightened yourself up and took a look at the man who helped you. "Sir," you added quickly.
"You don't have to call me sir," he smirked. "Call me Peter."
"Thanks, Peter."
"This is normally the part where you introduce yourself."
"I'm [Y/N]."
"Well, it's nice to meet you [Y/N]."
A long silence followed. Who was this strange yet attractive man who had made his way into your school?
"So are you a parent here?"
"Do I look old enough to have a kid in high school?"
"I'm not exactly sure. I mean, did you want something from me?"
"Now I don't mean to intrude," he said. "But that girl who pushed you. Does she pick on you often?"
"Athena? Yeah, I guess."
"I feel like I can help you with that. I've had a lot of experience in training people to fight."
"Thanks, but no. I don't really need to learn martial arts. I just want to get through high school."
"I'm not offering so that you can kick that girls' ass. I'm offering to help you feel stronger. Isn't that all you want try feel? Strong? Because when I was your age I sure as hell wasn't okay with being pushed around. Let me help you."
"Oh, well, alright. I'll do it."
"Don't do this because you feel like I'm pressuring you."
"I'm not," you said. "I want to feel good about myself, and if this is the way to do it, then I'm game."
"Good. Well, I'll give you my number, and you can text me whenever you want to."
"Thanks," you replied.
Peter put his number into your phone, and disappeared without another word. You watched him all the way to the end of the hallway, and as he left your sight, you felt a smile creep across your face.
