~The Night~

The peace of the night is disturbed

Though the hunter is not at rest

Neither is Death on a quest

Night upon Night it prowls

Looking for victims

Not matters the age nor gender

Not matters the good nor evil

Not matters the life they live

Not matters anything

It searches everywhere

You can't out run it

You can't hide

None will survive

Death is the end

Death is the beginning

Death is Death

And nothing can stop it

~War~

War shares the loss with everyone

As the numbers rise

Young men march off

But caskets comeback instead

They fought to their last breath

Frightening the war for cowards

Who stay at base, sending off men

So why is there a war,

With men who have a future,

Who want to spread peace?

Why is there death,

With the brave soldiers of each land,

Who strap up for battle?

There will never be a winner of War

Because War is the only victor,

It takes many lives, yet it leaves peace

But peace was always there hiding in the shadows

It was waiting, for the leaders to send away War

It never happened, because they didn't let it free

Peace is always there, it's just War seems easier

But is it?

The lost of young men and women who have a future

Who have a family back at home waiting,

Who have dreams, hopes, and wishes.

These men and women who are here because of the cowards

Sending Sons & Daughters off to War,

They might never return.

War has always existed, but why don't we give peace a chance

Because they won't

Men & Women will continue to march away

Only to return in a coffin they lay

I only hope one day this will end.
