Wounded - Guren X Reader

Y/N's Pov

I was with Mr White as the tenkai knights were in another battle.

I knew about them saving Quarton for about a month now.

I wasn't a tenkai knight myself and I don't think I can be.

So I would usually watch them fight.

I only knew this because we were hanging out and so when they ran away and ditched me because they were getting summoned, I followed and found them out.

They were quite surprised to see me when they got back.

And so I've watched the battles for a while now.

Although there are those times where I have to leave early cause I have to go home or something.

I was always worried for them but the one who most concerned me was Guren.

He was always throwing himself into danger to win in the battle.

Also, I have a small crush on him so I do get very worried. Or it may be a major crush.

As I watched, I realised how long the battle went.

And during that time, Guren was taking a lot of hits.

I was really worried for him right now.

After a couple more minutes, the battle had ended.

I heard the portal signalling the return of the gang.

I turned around and saw the gang teleported back.

I walked in front of them and looked at everyone.

Everyone was mostly fine except Guren.

Guren had bruises and cuts all over his body.

Then he blacked out and I caught him.

"He got himself hurt for us and to end the battle." Beni said.

"Yeah, and he needs a bit of help." Ceylan said.

"I'll help him. Can one of you guys bring him to the couch in the conference room. I'll just go grab the first aid kit." I said.

"Sure." Chooki said.

The five of them carried Guren to the conference room while I went to grab the first aid kit.

I went towards the conference room and saw that they laid Guren on the couch.

I stood next to Guren and started tending to his wounds.

After a little bit, I was done.

"He should be okay now." I said.

"He did take massive hits." Gen said.

"It's like the main character..." Toxsa started before Gen interrupted him.

"Stop. Just stop." Gen said.

Guren's Pov

I opened my eyes from the darkness that I was left in for a few minutes.

I felt pain course throughout my entire body.

I lifted myself up to sit upright and saw the gang and Y/N.

They were talking.

"Ugh, what happened?" I asked.

"You're awake." Chooki said.

"You got beat up pretty bad." Gen said.

"Y/N over here helped you by fixing your wounds." Ceylan said.

"Thanks." I said.

"It's no problem." Y/N said.

"We'll leave you two alone." Beni said, pushing all the other guys out except for Y/N and I.

"That was weird." Y/N said.

"Yeah." I said.

Then there was this awkward silence for a bit until I broke it.

"So, uh, can I tell you something?" I asked.

"Well, it would be a conversation so, yeah, go on." Y/N said.

"Uh." I said.

I started freezing up.

'Come on. Just get it over with.' I thought.

"Okay, so, for the past couple of months I have known you, I have grown a crush on you. And now I realise that I love you." I said.

"Guren, I..." Y/N said.

(I'm reading this as I write it and I realised I'm making it too cliche. Oh well, on with this)

"You don't have like me back but I thought I would just say it." I said.

"Guren, please just let me talk." Y/N said.

"Okay." I said.

"Guren, ever since I found out about you guys being the tenkai knights, I couldn't help but worry about you guys. But mainly about you because over the past months, I have had a crush on you and I realised I love you when that feeling never went away." Y/N said.

"So, would you go on a date with me and be my girlfriend?" I asked.

"Of course." Y/N said.

I hugged her and she hugged back.

Then we pulled away.

"Whenever your wounded, I'll be there to heal you." I said and she smiled at me to which I couldn't help but smile back.
