New Years - All Boys X Reader

A/N: Sorry that this one may be short, a lot shorter than what I’m used to but I have good reason. Either before or after reading this, could you check out a message I’ve posted on my board about what I’m doing with the book and this account. Anyways, onwards with the story.

Y/N’s Pov
It was December 31st and my friends and I decided to hang out to watch the fireworks together.

We were all going to hang out at a cafe before going to a park to watch the fireworks.

We all decided to meet up at the cafe and when we made it, I saw that everyone had a bag with them.

Some were big, and some weren’t but it did confuse me.

Well it wasn’t like I wasn’t suspicious since I held somethings in a bag of my own.

“Come on, go order so we can go to the park. I don’t want to miss the fireworks.” Beni said.

“I don’t mind but sure.” I said, rolling my eyes as I went to order (drink and doughnut of your choice).

Once I did, and once we grabbed our orders, with some of them being delayed a bit, we went to the park we were going to watch the fireworks at.

“So, why is she so hyper?” I questioned.

“It’s kind of her first time watching fireworks without someone like me to be there.” Gen explained.

“Ah, that kinda makes sense.” I said.

We made it to the park and set up a few blankets so we all could sit on.

Beni thankfully brought them.

I then stood up in front of them.

“I know that I’ve barely known you guys, since I only met you guys a year ago, but I want to thank you guys for being my friends. Especially after everything, so I got you guys custom keychains.” I said.

I gave each out to them.

Each one had something to represent them and their names on the side.

Guren had a cat, Ceylan had a laughing emoji, Toxsa had a game controller, Chooki had a soccer ball, Gen had a wolf and Beni had a pink rose with thorns encircling her name.

“What’s up with mine?” Beni asked.

“You act all sweet on the outside but you’re truly evil on the inside,” I said sitting down.

“Hey!” Beni exclaimed.

“Well, since she did that, we may as well get this going.” Ceylan said getting up.

That’s kind of when I discovered why everyone had bags.

Guren gave us each framed photos of photos we had taken together.

Ceylan gave each of us a joke that represented us. We all laughed when Toxsa read out his joke. Which was, ‘Hey, with all the intellect in Escapists, you still wouldn’t be smart enough to pass school’.

Toxsa gave everyone a game he thought they would enjoy. Some consisted of board games, some didn’t.

Chooki gave everyone tickets to a convention, which we didn’t understand how he got them but we weren’t complaining.

Gen made everyone chocolate personalised chocolate. He was a good cook too.

Beni gave everyone a plushie of animals that she thought represented everyone.

“This is nice.” I said.

“See, I’m not truly evil.” Beni said.

“Agree to disagree.” I said.
