Die for you - Undead Chooki X Reader

A/N: This is also requested by pokelover12345. They're a really cool person and go check out their book Tenkai Knights: undead rise. It's really good so far.

Y/N's Pov

I was friends with someone... Odd.

Well if I ever mentioned them to someone, they will say they're odd.

But to me. They're very unique.

Unique meaning on how they look like.

I've spent most of my life with them.

Well, except when I have to go out, to like school and such.

But this someone was special to me.

I ran to the forest.

"Chooki! Where are you?" I asked as I started to slow my pace.

I looked around until I saw a head pop out.

"Hey." I said as I lightly hugged him.

I couldn't hug him tightly because of his body.

"Hi." Chooki said.

"How have you been today." I asked as I sat down with him.

"Good.... I've been.... waiting. How.... was school?" Chooki asked slowly.

He can't talk to fast as he has to pace himself.

His brain worked slowly due to events.

"School was great. Although we've been learning about the human body and I'm not very comfortable with it." I said.

"Why.... not?" Chooki asked.

"Because of what happened to you. It just reminds me of what happened with you." I said.

This made no sense right.

What happened with Chooki.

Well, he was basically murdered.

One eye missing along with a missing hand, a dismantled leg, and he looks like he's been burnt in certain places.

But I gave him an eyepatch to cover his missing eye so he feels better. And although his hair and clothes are badly burned, I would repair them where I can since Chooki doesn't want me to get him new clothes.

He's also got deep slashes on his torso area and so at times I have to stitch them up.

I wasn't super talented in fixing him up but I tried my best

I didn't know how it happened exactly, I just know it happened.

And because he's been my friend for so long, hearing about the human body or death or something in that area, made me extremely uncomfortable.

"Hey.... What happened.... to me..... is in the...... past. You have..... to not..... worry about.... me so....... much." Chooki said.

"I can't help it. You've helped me out for so long and your my best friend. So worrying about you is something I like to do." I said.

"Thank.... you." Chooki smiled.

I looked up at the sky.

"It's getting late." I said.

I opened the bag I always brought with me and pulled out a plastic bag.

"I brought food again." I said.

I gave him the bag.

"I made sure not to bring chips again as they hurt you last time but I did bring you some chocolate." I said.
