Whether it be sadness, happiness or something else.

And it's indicated through your hair.

The bottom part of your hair.

You can cut it off but it'll end up growing back.

You can dye it to hide which emotion it is.

And when you kiss your soulmate, your hair has the colour of your soulmates emotion at the exact ends of your emotion colour.

Gen Inkuai.

A guy with very little emotions.

But he hides his non existent emotion by dying his hair.

Y/N L/N.

A girl who's very upbeat.

She dyes her entire hair colour rainbow so no one knows what her one is.

Y/N's Pov

I was walking into school with my usual rainbow hair, bouncing behind me.

I saw couples around and I just looked at them.
I didn't like going to school all the time because I can get tired very easily.

But I brushed it off.

I saw my group of friends.

"Hey guys." I said.

I smiled at each one of them.

(I DO NOT SHIP ANYONE WITH ANYONE BUT I'M NOT REALLY BOTHERED THINKING OF A CHARACTER WITH THIS ONE SO DO NOT KILL ME)

I saw Ceylan and Beni smiling at each other, Toxsa playing some video game, Chooki was just gone, Guren was chatting with Jason and BFF/N and Gen.

Gen was just there.

Gen and I would usually talk a lot.

He wasn't a very talkative person but sometimes he had a lot to say.

"Hey Y/N." Gen said.

I smiled wider at him.

Gen and I talked a bit.

Then we went to class.

Gen and I hung out a lot.

We both didn't know what the other's hidden emotion was and we weren't frankly persistent to find out.

Later on, after school, we had decided to go to the Turtle diner.

We all sat down in our desired seats.

We ordered our food and talked.

"So Y/N, figured out your soulmate yet?" Beni asked.

"No. I said.

"Aw come on. You haven't fallen in love yet?" Beni asked.

"Beni, can we just let this go?" I asked.

"Fine. How about you Gen?" Beni asked.

"No." Gen said.

"Beni. It's not our business." Ceylan said.

"Well I was just thinking that they should kiss. Get it over with. They could find out if they were soulmates or not." Beni said.

I looked at my phone-watch and got a ding.
