Y/N’s Pov
It had been a year since Saruhiko finally stopped coming after me.

I had been hanging out with Ceylan and his friends more often, and it made me happier than I had ever been.

It was also funny watching some of our friends find their soulmates.

Beni was in so much shock that she stood there, essentially worrying her soulmate until Ceylan slightly pushed her forward, scaring her out of her shocked state.

Toxsa met his soulmate through an online game. Although he was an idiot who revealed his name to someone he never met his soulmate was an understanding person and they didn’t live that far apart. They lived four hours away and see each other every weekend.

Chooki was fortunate to have met his at one of his soccer games. He bumped into them right after it, and as an apology for accidentally spilling his drink on them, he took them to a cafe and they hit it off pretty quickly.

Then my dear little blueberry met his one in the library. He finally wanted to study and they managed to help him with finding the right books and actually studying, and they managed to help him. Not only did he find his soulmate, but his studies have gone up.

Guren, Gen and I were the only ones. Fortunately, Guren hasn’t met his soulmate yet. I didn’t know much about Gen but from what I know, Gen hasn’t found his soulmate.

Then I had the idiot who was a cheating little… not going to continue.

Because of this, I have found myself sitting on the arm of a couch as all the couples talked to each other.

“Gen, could you stop dominating in Mario kart and give others a turn,”  Ceylan complained.

“Then get better,” Gen said as he finished another race of Mario kart against Toxsa.

(I headcanon Gen is seriously good at Mario Kart)

“I give in. You can race against the CPU now.” Toxsa said, surrendering the remote.

“Hey, where’s Guren?” Ceylan asked.

“I dunno blueberry. You’re his best friend.” I said, picking up the remote and sitting next to Gen.

“So Gen, how lonely do you feel with everyone finding their soulmates.” Toxsa teased.

“I found mine when I was six years old. She lives in Japan now. She’s going to be moving in with me later this year. We talk a lot.” Gen blatantly said.

“Oh,” Toxsa said.

“Feel dumb don’t you?” I said as Gen and I played Mario Kart.

Soon enough, after about fifteen minutes, the door of our house was slammed open, and in came rushing Guren and Beni, with a third person behind them.

I was able to recognise the third person, even though they’ve changed.

“Guys! Guren found his soulmate.” Beni said, excitedly.

I felt the broken pieces of my broken heart, shatter.

I looked at my phone, pretending I had a message.

“That’s good,” I said, smiling at him and typing on my phone.

“Yeah. Oh, this is so great. We all have someone now” Beni said.

I forced myself to smile more.

“Anyways, I gotta go. It’s 2.30 and I wanna make it to the bookstore to grab another copy of (insert book series here) before they close.” I said, getting up and grabbing my jacket.
