A/N: This is for my best friend MidnightFallenAngel. Her birthday was in mid-Feburary, Feburary 19, (which I'm sorry this is so late). She's 17 so happy belated birthday although I was there for her birthday. This is something I was supposed to publish then but didn't get time to finish it. Day 19: Gen X Reader - Spend A Birthday With Loved Ones
Y/N's Pov I had gotten to school and met up with my best friend BFF/N.
"Heyo!" I greeted her and she smiled at me.
"Hey! Happy Birthday!" BFF/N said and I smiled at her.
"Thanks." I said.
We talked for a bit before heading off into our different roll call classes.
I sat next to Gen and held his hand as we talked.
That's really all as to how classes went.
Friends of mine would say happy birthday to me and some people I didn't talk too did so.
At lunch, BFF/N and I were supposed to meet up with the others but we had to go to the bathroom so that's where we were headed first.
After we finished, I saw that BFF/N was on her phone, talking to someone but I shook it off, thinking it was her sister.
We walked to one of the classrooms and walked into my friends yelling 'Happy Birthday'.
I smiled and laughed a little.
I saw BFF/N go harrass Zarui about not giving clear instructions.
"Thank you." I said.
It wasn't much of a party, just a little get together.
I got a few presents, Mariah got me a cute stuffed penguin with headphones on it, and there were cupcakes and drinks. I questioned how our teacher let us do it.
BFF/N made me tiny pillows of my favourite characters from My hero academia.

(It was supposed to have hearts on the sides of them, so when they connected it would be like a ship. The picture kinda makes it not look like that but I tried. I never got time to make Bakugou so these were the only ones I were able to do.)
I smiled as I got everything.
I heard the door open and saw the rest of our friends come in.
"Happy Birthday!" They all exclaimed and I smiled.
I turned back to my friends and talked to them when I felt someone hug me from behind.
"Hey!" I greeted, looking up to see Gen.
"Hey. Happy Birthday." He said quietly, kissing my forehead and handing me a box.
Inside was black and F/C roses with a box next to them.
I opened it to see a braclet that had stars and planets on it and 'the universe doesn't hold my love for you'.
I smiled up at him, before turning around and placing a kiss on his cheek.
"Thank you. I love it." I said. He went slightly red and that made me smile more.
We had been dating for ten months now but he wasn't completely used to affection.
"After school, I wanna take you out so don't leave without me." Gen said and I smiled at him.
"Sure." I said.
We spent the lunch chatting and eating cupcakes before the bell rang for class.
After class, I waited at the gates for Gen while everyone left.
"Hey." Gen greeted as he approached me.
"Hi!" I greeted as I held his hand.
Gen and I walked, making small talk here and there.
I tried asking him about where we were going but he revealed no such thing.
Soon we made it to the park and made it to the top of a hill. Gen put down his backpack and took a few things out, creating a picnic.
"A picnic?" I asked.
"Well, considering we should never trust what's in those cupcakes, I put a few things together for us to eat." Gen said as we sat down on the blanket.
I laughed at his statement.
"Probably." I said as we sat down.
I could trust what Gen cooks because I've had his cooking before and he knew about my allergies.
There were egg-free brownies, some sandwhiches, snacks like oreos and chips and cans of soda.
I giggled at his choice of food as we ate together.
We spent the next few hours together, and ended up stargazing together.
"Okay, we should head home." Gen suggested and I smiled at him nodding.
"Sure." I said as we got up.
We packed everything up and headed home holding hands.
Once we made it to my house, I smiled at him before giving him a hug.
"Thank you." I said, pecking his lips.
"No problem." Gen said.
I gave him one last hug before walking inside.
As long as you're spending it with someone you love, birthday's can be fun.
