I was in school, like normal, when I received a text from Ceylan.

Ceylan was my boyfriend of 4 years and I loved him.

Ceylan: Hey just woke up. You must be finishing school soon, so I dont want to keep you

I smiled at that.

Y/N: You wake up way to early. Ill text you after school

Ceylan: Okay

Y/N: And get ready for school

I smiled and put my phone away as I listened to the teacher ramble on.

Ceylan and I had a long-distance relationship. He lived in America while I lived in Australia.

We were around sixteen hours apart, so we had a hard time keeping up with each other.

It wasnt the easiest to keep up with especially since we could barely see each other.

But we were always so happy to see each other when we did.

We were both eighteen, having met each other when I was 13 and he was 14.

We were friends for a year before he decided to ask me out.

"Hey. Stop texting your boyfriend." BFF/N said.

"At least I've got one." I said.

"Shut up. I'm not looking for a relationship." BFF/N said.

"Sure. Tell yourself that after you stop staring at your crush from a distance and finally getting the guts to ask them out." I said.

"Yeah. Whatever." BFF/N said.

I just sat in my chair as I waited for class to end.

Then an announcement came on.

"We will be selling roses for a week til valentines day. Remember to buy one for that someone your looking for." Some person said into the announcements.

I sighed in disappointment, being reminded that I wont be able to see Ceylan again.

"Hey. I'm sure everything will work out soon enough." BFF/N said.

"Yeah. But it's just a little annoying." I said.

"Yeah. I can't understand that." BFF/N said.

I just stared at her with a blank stare.

Soon enough the bell rang, and I grabbed my stuff.

"You walking today?" BFF/N asked.

"Yeah. Cause when don't I." I mentioned.

"Yeah. But there might be that random chance that you won't." BFF/N said.

I got up.

"Yeah. But a very rare chance." I said.

"Well, okay. See you tomorrow." BFF/N said.

We both left the school grounds and went separate ways.

I plugged in my headphones and listened to music as I walked home.

Once I got home, I put my stuff down and texted Ceylan.

Y/N: Just got home.

Ceylan: Cool.
