The New Girl - Ceylan X Reader

Ceylan's Pov

I was walking into school after two days of being away due to a stupid sickness that had gotten a hold of me.

None of my friends could get in contact with me because I wasn't allowed to be on any kind of social media and none of them was allowed to visit me.

So I didn't know anything about what was happening at school.

"Hey, you're back!" Guren greeted me.

"Yeah, vomiting every ten minutes isn't as fun as it sounds," I said.

"That is disgusting," Toxsa complained

"Life's disgusting, get used to it," I mentioned.

"On a different note, that is disgusting related, we have a new student in school. In our year." Beni said.

"Okay, what am I supposed to do? Go, 'hey I'm the guy that was sick for two days and couldn't throw a paper plane into your hair'.  Yeah, doesn't seem like a good greeting for a new kid." I said.

"You did exactly that to me. And Gen!" Guren reminded.

"Okay, I'm guilty of that." I agreed.

"Anyways, what's the difference this time?" Toxsa asked.

"Hm, the fact that I usually do it in the spur of the moment. Okay, we have a new student in school. Cool. I am not throwing another aeroplane in someone's hair and getting detention again." I said.

"How much detentions have you gotten due to throwing paper aeroplanes in people's hair?" Chooki questioned.

"More times then I threw up yesterday," I answered.

"The bell rang two minutes ago," Gen mentioned.

"And now we leave," I said, going to my science class.

I entered science and looked around, noticing there was indeed a new student at school.

It was a female who was dressed in a light and dark blue dress but it wasn't important.

It was just another student going to school to learn about stuff that we wouldn't use in the future.

"So students, we are going to be working on the upcoming assignment. I've got everything prepared for the experiment so please partner up and go to one of the stations." Ms Cham explained, which we all got up and proceeded to partner up.

I went to a station and looked at the experiment.

I heard a book being placed down next to me and I looked up. It was the new girl.

"Um, I'm sorry. I know it's rude of me, but I don't know much people and everyone else has already found a partner, I was wondering if I could partner with you." The new girl whispered.

"Sure, I'm Ceylan Jones." I introduced.

"Y/N L/N." She replied.

"Okay, cool," I said as we started the experiment.

Soon it was five minutes to the bell.

We packed up and I thought that would be the last time I would talk to Y/N.

The next day, I was proven wrong.

"Okay, class. I have given you the assignment paper with all the information properly. For those who already haven't read it, this is a group assignment. The partners you have grouped up with yesterday is your partner for the assignment. I've already recorded who's teamed with who so don't try to switch partners. You have until the end of next week to have the assignment written up. Meaning the method, results, everything you have done in the experiment. Now, that's all for today." Ms Cham said as we were finishing up with the class.
