Scared to sing - Gen X Reader

Gen's Pov

I would usually wander around school when I felt like it. It was usually when I had nothing to do and I wasn't bothered meeting up with the guys. I didn't have anything to do so I was just walking now. I then heard a very beautiful voice singing. I slightly smiled at the sound. I then headed to the field to talk with the others. With the beautiful singing voice in my head.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Where did you go?" Ceylan asked.

"Walked around." I said.

"Hey, we were talking about some things coming up." Toxsa said.

"Like what?" I asked.

"The excursion that's coming up soon. The school festival. The singing group singing at the school festival. And more." Chooki said.

"Cool." I said.

"Is it really cool?" Ceylan said.

"I dunno. I've never really gone to one." I said and heard the bell ring.

"Looks like it's time for class." Guren said.

"Oh, well I'll be going to class." I said.

I left and went to my class.

I sat in my seat, not really concentrating in class as I wasn't bothered. I had my mind on if I was going to the excursion or the festival.

*a few days later*

I was heading out to the field to see where the guys were when I heard singing again.

'That sounds the same as the person singing a few days ago.' I thought.

It sounded like it was coming from the field so I avoided it, thinking that they may want to be alone.

I looked at the cafeteria and saw the guys.

"Hey." I said, sitting next to them.

"Sup." Chooki said.

"Where's Ceylan?" I asked.

"Practicing for a play again. And rehearsing for his role." Guren said.

"That's right. Isn't he working the theater booth. Doing some kind of costume dress up booth." Beni recalled.

"Yeah. And the rest of us will be working booths." Chooki said.

"I'm helping the cooking club with their café." Guren said.

"My gaming club is doing a mini arcade." Toxsa said.

"We're doing a dunk tank. And a pop the balloon. And shoot the duck. And more." Chooki said.

"That's a lot." I said.

"Yeah. And my club is doing a beauty salon." Beni said.

"Cool." I said.

"What is your club doing?" Guren asked me.

"I never joined a club." I said.

"Oh." Guren said.

"Maybe he could help us around?" Chooki said.

"I'm fine. I didn't join a club because I didn't want to do any of that kind of stuff." I said.

"Okay." Beni said.

"Hey guys." Ceylan said, walking over.

"Finished from practice?" Guren asked.
