Y/N's Pov
I was sitting in a classroom reviewing notes when someone walked in. I looked up noticing it was a girl.
"Hello. You said you would see me today." The girl said.
"Ah. Lea right. I remember. Now tell me what is it that's wrong." I said, grabbing a notebook.
"Well, it's my best friend. I've liked him for a while now but, I don't know how to tell him." Lea said.
"Tell me your symptoms and thoughts." I said.
This was a side job of mine. Well not really a job.
I was considered the cupid of school, because I was able to give advice about love, crushes and stuff like that. People came to me for advice and my reputation grew.
Although it was weird as to how I even got to this point, but I've never given up with helping someone.
I did listen intently to each person's thoughts and feelings, usually jotting down notes that I didn't know about. It was funny because I usually just went with what I thought could be right and what I think the person should do.
Whether it's the person taking charge or playing the long game, I didn't mind. And usually, my advice worked. And it made me happy to make someone else happy.
"And he's been avoiding me lately. I don't really like it cause he's my friend first, crush second." Lea said.
"Well, I would suggest letting destiny happen. He may be avoiding you for a reason. Either something has happened to him and he doesn't want you involved or he may be conflicted about his feelings and not know what to do." I said.
"But I do want to talk to him." Lea said.
"Then do that. Talk to him and try to organise some plans to hang out. And maybe try to question him about the avoidance. But if he isn't comfortable talking about, don't try to force it out of him. And try to support him through whatever it may be that he's going through. Be a good friend for him. And if things work out well, then try gaining up the courage to tell him how you feel. But please remember, do what you think is best, and not what some stranger thinks." I suggested.
"Thank you. I'll take your words into account and see what I can do. Thanks for the advice." Lea said, getting up.
I smiled politely.
"Don't mention it. I try to help as much as I can." I said.
"Thanks again." Lea said, running out the door.
I sighed as I looked down at my homework.
"Two years into this and yet they still come for your advice." I heard a voice and I looked behind me to see Chooki.
"Sup my starfished friend." I said.
"You think by the age of fifteen that people wouldn't go to someone for advice about a mere high-school crush." Chooki said, sitting next to me.
"Yeah, you'd think. Unfortunately, I still am doing this. But it's nice seeing smiles on their faces after a simple chat like this." I said.
"Yeah. Anyways, the gang's gonna get ice-cream and decided to wait up for you incase you had any meetings. Wanna join us?" Chooki asked.
"Yes. Ice-cream sounds like the best idea right now." I said, grabbing all my notes and shoving them into my bag.
"Got any homework to suffer through." Chooki said as we walked out towards the front of the school.
"A ton. And a bunch of people wanted to meet me and so I've actually had bookings. I feel like a teacher and I'm only fifteen. Who knew being sick meant that I had to suffer a lot more things than normal." I said, lazily holding my bag.
