Love the rain - Guren X Reader

Y/N's Pov

I was never one for the heat. I hated the summer. I hated any kind of heat, even from food.

I loved the cold. I loved the winter and the cold it would bring. I loved cold food, cold showers.

I loved ice-skating but despised roller-skating.

I loved everything cold and hated everything hot.

So when it started to rain, you would not know how happy I was.

Let me start.

I was walking to school, like everyday when Beni approached me.

"Hey Y/N." Beni greeted.

"Sup?" I questioned.

"Did you bring an umbrella?" Beni asked.

"No. Why? Was I supposed to?" I asked.

"Well, it's supposed to rain today. Did you not look at the weather today?" Beni asked.

"Nope. I never do." I said.

"Well good luck. You're gonna be in the rain." Beni said.

"I don't think that's a bad thing." I said.

"Yeah. Okay." Beni said.

We chatted along the way to school.

Once we got to school, it started to lightly sprinkle.

I looked up at the grey sky and smiled.

"You are one weird girl." Beni said, as she hurried inside to be out of the rain.

I just stuck my tongue out as she walked off.

*time skip to recess*

It was recess and the teachers told us to stay inside as to not get wet.

I looked outside the classroom and saw that it was raining heavily.

I smiled.

I then looked over at the tree that I had left my stuff under and saw that they were drenched.

I felt a little annoyed that I had forgotten my stuff but it was the perfect opportunity to walk out in the rain.

I got up from my seat and left the classroom.

I walked out of the hallways and outside.

I smiled as I felt the cold heavy rain fall onto me.

I looked up at the sky and smiled.

Guren's Pov

I looked at the rain that poured and looked outside.

It was kind of foggy so it was a little hard to see.

But I saw a person walking through the rain.

I looked and noticed that it was Y/N.

I walked out of my classroom and to the hallway that looked outside.

Y/N was smiling, looking up at the sky.

She then looked at me.

"Hey Guren." Y/N said, grabbing my hands and taking me outside to the rain.

"Come dance with me." Y/N said.

She started to twirl around as she smiled and laughed.

"Y/N. We're gonna get sick." I said.

"So what. We only have one life. Let's live it." Y/N said, smiling at me.

I smiled back at her.

She grabbed my hands and started swinging them.

Then she stopped and I noticed that she had started shivering a little.

I wore a jacket today so I wrapped it around her and brought her closer to me.

"Why did you come out into the rain if you were cold?" I asked.

"I forgot my bag out here." Y/N said.

I chuckled at that.

I brought her under the roof.

"What about my bag?" Y/N asked.

"I'll grab it." I said.

I went back under the rain and went in the direction Y/N had seemed to be heading in.

I found her bag under a tree and protected it from the rain.

I ran back to Y/N and saw that she was fine and not under the rain.

"Thanks Guren."  Y/N said as I gave her bag.

"Let's get you back to the classroom." I said.

I took her back to our classroom and sat her in my seat.

I sat next to her and put the jacket on her properly.

"Thanks again Guren. You always care so much." Y/N said.

"It's okay. And one day we can go dancing in the rain. When it isn't this bad."  Y/N said.

"I would love that." Y/N said.

I smiled at her.

And since then, I grew a liking for the rain.

Because it was in the rain that I got my first girlfriend.

With the girl who loved the rain.
