Stupid Rumours - Chooki X Reader

Y/N's Pov
I was walking down the hallway when I heard it again.

"Are they really a couple."

"They look so cute together."

"They can't be together. He's so much better than her."

"They'd better not be together, he's mine."

I sighed as I heard this. This kind of stuff was directed at me. And it wasn't true.

I got to my class and saw Chooki.

"Hey." Chooki said.

"Hi." I said.

"What's up?" Chooki asked.

"Nothing." I said as I sat next to him.

"Okay, something is up." Chooki said.

"Nothing." I said.

Then the teacher walked in.

"We'll talk about this later." Chooki said.

I went through the classes and tried avoiding Chooki.

I didn't really want to explain what's been going on.

It was lunch and I tried to rush out when Chooki grabbed my arm.

"Where do you think your going?" Chooki asked.

"To lunch." I said.

"What's wrong with you, you seem a bit iffy today." Chooki said.

I heard a beep from his phone-watch.

"You gonna check that?" I asked.

"Yeah." Chooki said.

He checked whatever it is. 

"I have a feeling about what's been keeping you down." Chooki said.

"And what is it?" I asked.

"People are spreading rumours about us dating. I know you don't like that kind of stuff. If you want, I can stop it." Chooki said hugging me.

"No, it's okay. they are just rumours." I said. I did like Chooki but these stupid rumours made me not want to say anything.

"Okay, now let's go to lunch. The others are waiting for us." Chooki said grabbing my hand.

We ran to the cafeteria and I smiled slightly.

*time skip to the next day*

I woke up the next day and heard a beep from my phone-watch.

There was a text from BFF/N telling me to check Instagram.

I was confused but did so anyway.

There was a picture of me and Chooki. But not just any picture.

It was a picture of us hugging from just yesterday. 

And with the caption #couplegoals.

And the comments on it were terrible.

I sighed and threw my phone-watch at the wall.

It didn't break so I didn't worry.

I heard the door open and I looked at it.

"So I'm assuming you saw the post?" Chooki asked looking at my phone-watch.

"Yeah." I said.

"And you don't seem to like it." Chooki said.
