Childish Humor - Chooki X Reader Pt.2

A/N: Before I say anything, this part isn't based off anything. Nor did anyone request for it. I just had a really good idea for it so I will make it.

Y/N's Pov

I was meeting up with Chooki at a cafe before school started because he was going on a 2 week trip for a soccer tournament. I couldn't go with him so we decided to meet up at the cafe before he left.

I walked in and ordered for us before sitting at a table, waiting. 

I heard whispering and I knew that it was being directed at me.

Anyone who went to my school and even more people outside of school knew I was dating Chooki.

They all knew me as the child who shouldn't be dating someone like him.

It got to me a lot because it was kind of true.

"She's such a child. Can't she ever learn to grow up?" Someone whispered from behind me.

I ignored it and smiled instead. I swung my feet a little as I waited for Chooki.

"Sorry, I'm late. Just got everything to the bus." Chooki said as he approached me.

He kissed the top of my head and I smiled at him.

He sat down as we got our orders.

We talked for a bit as we enjoyed the food from the cafe.

I couldn't get those whispers out of my head but I couldn't let them phase me.

Not now at least.

"I have to go now," Chooki said.

I pouted a little as I stood up.

"Do you have too?" I asked.

"Yes. I'm going to miss you though." Chooki said.

"I'm going to miss you," I said as I hugged him.

We stood there, hugging for a minute before letting go.

"Don't worry. I'll be back before you know it." Chooki said.

I nodded and we held hands as we walked out of the cafe.

We made it to the bus and I gave one last hug to Chooki. 

"Take care of yourself," I said.

"I will," Chooki said and kissed the top of my head.

I kissed his cheek before letting him go and he got onto the bus.

I waved him off as the bus drove away.

I looked at the time and walked to school.

As I got to school I heard more whispers. Now that Chooki wasn't here, there wasn't much to stop them from talking.

Each whisper about me hurt me more and more.

I sighed as I hugged myself.

BFF/N approached me.

"Hey, he's going to be back soon enough." BFF/N said.

I smiled slightly and waved her off.

"Yeah. I just, want to be alone right now." I said.

BFF/N nodded in understanding. "I understand. If you need me, I'll be here for you." BFF/N said. 

I nodded and walked away from her.

I sat under a tree, thinking about how I was way too childish to be with someone like Chooki.

How he would prefer somebody who didn't run around making dumb jokes.
