Y/N's Pov

Red string.

Something that was commonly talked about.

We were taught that we had one soulmate when we were younger.

And so we have a thin piece of red string tied around our pinky and connected to that person.

I didn't have that.

I didn't know why but I had a thick piece of string tied around my pinky.

It would be heavy if it did have any physical weight to it but it doesn't.

I was moving to a new place because my family needed to move away from the toxicity of our old house and how their family treated them for marrying each other.

I was fine with it and hoped that I had met friends.

I walked into class and greeted everybody.

I was assigned a seat and looked outside.

"This place looks so cool." I said to myself.

I was walking outside of the class as it was lunch when a girl with pink hair stopped me.

"Hello!" She greeted.

"Sup." I said, throwing up a half peace sign.

"So as your new and all. I was thinking maybe you'd want to eat lunch with me and my friends." The pink girl suggested.

"Sure." I said.

"I'm Beni by the way." The pink girl introduced and I nodded.

"I'm Y/N. Although you probably already know that due to my awkward introduction earlier." I said.

"Nah. It was fine. Let's go." She said and linked arms with me and kind of dragged me towards the outside field.

We approached a group of rainbow-haired people.

Once we got there, I noticed something.

A red string.

If I remember correctly, you could only see the red string of your soulmate.

So why could I see the red string of 5 boys.

When Beni let go my arm and called to them, as two of them seemed to be arguing, I lifting my left hand with the string on it.

The thick piece of red string branched out and connected to each of them.

"What the hell." I said.

"Y/N. Are you okay?" Beni asked, waving her hand in front of my face.

"Yeah. Um, I'm Y/N." I said, introducing myself to them.

"I'm Ceylan. It seems like I'm your soulmate." Blue hair said.

"What drugs are you on. I'm her soulmate." Green hair said.

"Um, it seems that I am her soulmate." Red hair said.

"No offence but I'm not blind, I am her soulmate." Blonde hair said.

"I'm her soulmate." Black hair said.

They all started arguing about who's my soulmate and I felt way too confused to be here.

"CAN YOU SHUT UP!" Beni yelled and the five boys shut up.

"I clearly don't understand what's going on but she's also new here who also don't really understand. So introduce yourselves and we can resolve this issue." Beni said, clearly pissed.
