Shattered like Glass - Gen X Reader

A/N: As a big warning, Gen will probably be really out of character. But I just wanted to write this.

Y/N's Pov

I was walking through the hallways, clutching my books to myself more when I saw another girl run away crying.

I sighed.

Something normal that I got used to since he came to school.

I found my friend, BFF/N, standing next to my locker and she looked me right in the eye.

"What's up now?" I questioned.

"He's done it again." BFF/N said shaking her head.

"You do realise that we don't even understand why he does this." I said as I opened my locker.

"Okay let's see. Girls think he's hot, they try to get him to either date them, be their boyfriend or kiss them, he rejects them and we got a mess of a girl coming down the hallways." BFF/N said.

"Well, /so what. Half of them should realise that's it's not worth it." I said as I started grabbing books.

"Like you." BFF/N said, staring at me.

I slammed my locker shut.

"I'm going to class." I said.

I left her alone and walked to my maths class.

I sat in my seat and waited for everyone to rock up and for the teacher to come to class.

I had pulled my art book out and started to draw.

"That's some good drawings you got there." Someone said and I looked up to see Gen standing there.

"Thanks." I said, quite confused as to why he was talking to me suddenly.

"So how come I haven't noticed you yet?" Gen asked.

"Don't know. Haven't seen you around either." I said.

Then the teacher came in and Gen sat down behind me.

'He doesn't notice me cause I'm invisible to everyone.' I thought.

I sighed. 

I was doodling during class and before I knew it, class was over.

Good thing that was the last class of the day.

I looked at my phone-watch and saw that BFF/N had texted me.

BFF/N: Party going on tonight, you coming

Me: No, you know I don't like parties

BFF/N: Let me rephrase, you are coming

Y/N: Bye

I turned off my phone-watch and looked up to see Gen flipping through my art book

"What are you doing?" I asked, snatching it back.

"Admiring a pretty girl's art. Some deep stuff in there." Gen said.

"Goodbye." I said, grabbing my stuff and leaving.

I went to my locker and put my stuff inside it and kept my art book with me.

I walked home and once I got home, I flopped on my couch.

I just turned the TV on when someone slammed my door open and there stood BFF/N, Jake and Chloe.

"What's going on?" I asked.
