Take your pain - Ceylan X Reader

Y/N's Pov
It happened right in front of me. The blood, the bodies, the death. I watched as my family bled out. Their eyes losing life as they slowly died. I couldn’t move. I didn’t want to run. I didn’t want to leave my family behind. But I had to. As I heard muffled voices and stomping, I got up and with whatever strength I had, I made a break for it.

Then I saw black.

Everything turned black.

I woke up in a cold sweat. I tried to calm my breathing as I looked at the time. It was six in the morning.

As my breathing got slowly calmer, I got out of bed. ‘Might as well get ready for school.’ I thought.

I went to the bathroom and took a shower.

Afterwards, I got changed and went downstairs to eat breakfast.
As I ate, I looked at the empty house.

The house my family died in.
The one where I watched them bleed out.

I hated it.

I hated that day.

The memory of that day.

It made me feel worthless.

That I couldn’t help my family.

I got up and grabbed my bag just as the doorbell rang.

I opened the door to see my friends.

“Hey Y/N.” Ceylan greeted.

I waved at him.

“She seems fine,” Toxsa said.

“We going?” I questioned.

“Yeah,” Chooki said.

I nodded and locked my door after leaving my house.

I wasn’t talkative. At least, to my friends I’m not.

Especially after that day.

The only one who knew what happened was Gen.

He just happens to be my cousin and was informed of what happened.

As we were walking, Gen and I kept to the back.

“Another one?” Gen asked.

“Yeah,” I said,

“You look like you haven’t slept in days,” Gens, id.

“Cause I haven’t,” I said.

“You going after school?”  Gen asked.

“Yeah, I am,” I said.

“Want me to tag along?” Gen asked.

“No,” I said.

“We’re at school,” Ceylan said.

I nodded and walked away from them.

I got to the rooftop and sat on the floor.

I closed my eyes and leaned against the wall.

I opened my eyes and saw blood.

“What’s going on?” I questioned myself.

Everywhere I looked there was blood.

I looked at my hands and they were bloody and holding a knife.

I started shaking.

I looked up and saw my family’s decapitated bodies.

I couldn’t stop shaking and I couldn’t calm myself down either.

Then the bell rang, knocking me out of my hallucination.

I looked around and saw everything was back to normal.

“I need to find a way to sleep.”,I said, o myself.

I got up and headed to class.

I sat next to Gen. I brushed him off when he asked me if I was okay.

*Time skip to after school*

I got up from my seat after a day’s worth of boring knowledge being drilled into my mind and grabbed my bag.

I texted Gen telling him that I was going, although he already knew I was headed.

Ceylan’s Pov
I was waiting for the others at the front of the gate when I saw Y/N leave.

I had realised that she never hangs out with us after school.

So I felt like investigating
And by investigating, I meant following her.

So I texted my friends that I had something up, and I subtly followed Y/N.

I watched her as she slowly weaved herself through the crowd, seemingly kind of desperate to get somewhere.

I watched as she stopped in front of a flower shop and bought a bouquet of flowers.

When she left, I continued to follow her.

I watched as she took a few turns, me somehow not losing her.

And then I watched as she got to a hill.

She walked up the hill and I hid behind trees to continue to follow her.

Once she got to the top, she placed the flowers down.

On top of three graves.

“Hey m, um, dad, sis. How long has it been? ?y night?are haven’t gotten any better. I feel like I shouldn’t continue living. My nightmares are giving me some kind of sign to kill myself. So I can stop living with all the guilt. I hate that I couldn’t help you guys that day. ItIt'still It'snting me. But I’m trying my best to stay strong. If I do end it, I’m sorry. For not being able to live up to your expectations. Anyways, bye for now.” Y/N said.

I turned around, hoping not to have gotten caught.

“Look who’s decided to be a spy.” Y/N said, as she placed a hand on my shoulder.

“Uh, hey Y/N." I said.

“Why are you here?” Y/N asked.

“I was just curious as to why you don’t hang out with us in the afternoon.”,I said.,

“Oh that. This is what I do. I’m guessing you want some answers.” Y/N said.

“Nah.”, I said.,

“No?” Y/N questioned

“No. If you don’t want to tell me, I don’t mind. But I just want you to know I’ll be here for you whenever. So don’t be afraid to let your feelings out around me. Cause I want to take your pain away.” I said, hugging her.

“Thanks.” Y/N said, crying.

I hugged her tighter.

I knew I wasn’t the best person for her.

But all I can do was comfort her.
Because I’ll be her knight, taking the pain for her.

A/N: That ending is terrible. I think this entire one isn't my best one. But I wanted to try and get something out as soon as possible. So, I hope this is good enough. I'll get to writing all the requests that I do have and I'll be updating as fast as I can. So please bear with me. I'm honestly trying my best. Please forgive me.
