Soulmates.

We are all destined for one.

Soul marks.

We all have one.

We wear it on either of our arms and it has the name of our soulmate there.

Some of us grow obsessed with finding it.

Some of us don't mind or care about it.

Some of us are lucky enough to find it early in our life.

I'm what you considered one of the lucky ones.

Saruhiko Fushimi.

We met when we were younger and figured out we were each others soulmates.

Not only were we childhood best friends, but we were also soulmates.

And we have known each other for 12 years.

We had no problems in our relationship and no problems with each other.

I wished thats how I saw it now.

A year ago he did the unimaginable.

I was walking to his house after coming from the hospital.

My parents had a car crash a week ago and I was just told that they weren't gonna make it.

I didn't tell Saruhiko because I didn't want to bother him about it.

But now I needed to be with him for comfort.

The funeral was supposed to be this friday and I was supposed to be moving to next to my best friend's house in a week.

So I had a lot going on.

As I got there, I breathed deeply, preparing myself for the worst of the outcome.

I didn't expect this outcome.

There he was, holding a girl I didn't know up against a wall, making out.

I watched them in shock.

"What the hell!" I yelled out.

"Y/N?" Saruhiko questioned.

"11 f******years. And now you decide to do this. What the hell!" I yelled out.

"Its not what it looks like." Saruhiko started.

"Don't start with that b*****!t. Not what it looks like. Cause it sure as hell looks like your cheating." I said.

"But..." Saruhiko started but I walked into the kitchen.

"We are supposed to be destined soulmates and you pull this b*****!t. What about her soulmate." I said as I grabbed a knife.

"What are you doing?" Saruhiko asked.

"F**k soulmates. F**k you. F**k this. F**k it all." I said. I lifted up my sleeve to where the soulmark was and brought the knife up.

"Don't." Saruhiko warned.

I brought the knife onto my soulmark and cut a line through it.

"And most of all, f**k love. Love is a lie. Soulmates are lie." I said.
