Day 1: Guren X Reader - Relax

Guren had been going through a lot lately. Between school and fighting to keep our earth alive, he's been stressed out.

I wanted to do something for him to help him relax and so I thought of organising a little surprise for him.

I was his girlfriend so I knew I had to do something.

"Haha, I got it," I said, shooting up, thus scaring my brother Ceylan.

"What do you got? Dignity?" Ceylan questioned as he picked up his glasses from the floor.

"No. I've got an idea," I said.

"Is this still about surprising Guren?" Ceylan asked as he put his glasses on the table.

"Yes. Guren needs to relax and as his girlfriend, I need to make sure he does." I said as I got up and made my way to the kitchen.

"I know, but I don't think you should do that. He's quite capable." Ceylan said.

"He doesn't get to do many things because he's always busy. His dad isn't around as much and he doesn't ask for help. So I'm going to do it." I said as I took out a lot of ingredients.

"Can I help?" Ceylan asked.

"Sure. You know how to make brownies, I'll make cupcakes." I said.

"You're insane," Ceylan said as he started prepping ingredients.

I smiled as we made our different batches and made cupcakes and brownies.

We joked around here and there as we made our desserts.

"They're done!" I exclaimed as I looked at the time. "Oh no. It's getting late." I said.

"I'll finish the frosting the cupcakes. You go have a shower and get changed." Ceylan said.

"Thanks!" I exclaimed as I ran up the stairs and had a shower.

After my shower, and changing, I threw a few clothes into a bag and grabbed a few essentials.

I went downstairs and saw two boxes on the bench.

"I put them in different boxes and made sure each cupcake had frosting.' Ceylan said.

"Thanks, bro. Tell mum and dad that I'll be home tomorrow. I'm gonna be at Guren's house." I said as I grabbed the boxes and put them in my bag.

I put on my shoes, hugged my brother and ran off.

I got to Guren's house in the nick of time.

I knocked on the door and waited. I figured that Guren wasn't home so I took out my key and opened his door.

I went in, took off my shoes and looked around.

I turned the lights on and went into Guren's room.

I set up a few things, including a laptop and snacks and the desserts I made.

I soon heard the front door open and I ran downstairs and saw Guren.

"Guren!" I exclaimed as I ran and hugged him.

Guren dropped one of the bags he was holding to stabilise us from falling.

"Y/N, what are you doing here?" Guren asked.

"I have a surprise for you," I said.

"You didn't have to," Guren said.

"I wanted to. You haven't been able to relax lately and I thought I would do something for you." I said.

"Okay. But let me pack away the groceries first." Guren said.

"I'll help," I said,

Guren and I packed everything and then I took him to his room.

"Here!" I exclaimed, showing him the set up I made.

"Watching movies?" Guren asked.

"Yep, and I made brownies and cupcakes. Well, Ceylan helped." I said.

I smiled as we went inside the fortress I made.

I pulled Guren and hugged him from behind.

"It's your turn to relax, okay," I said, smiling at him.

I saw Guren blush which made me smile more.

After two or three movies, Guren had finally fallen asleep. He had his head in my lap and I smiled. "Sleep well," I said as I moved his hair away and kissed his forehead.

Sometimes taking a break is good for you.

A/N: It's the month of February so here I give you a one-shot every day. They will be fluff, or a longfic with a good ending. I will hopefully get one out each day so hope you all like it.
