She told me that she would play a music for me and pulled me towards our grand piano and made me sat beside her on the chair in front of it. She started playing a slow relaxing piano piece. This was her passion aside from painting and artistically designing everything here inside our mansion. She really loved to play piano and to sing.
She turned and grinned at me after playing that musical piece. "How's that?"
I grinned at her also. "Okay na."
Her wide grin suddenly disappeared and turned into a sour look. "Okay lang? Ang tagal-tagal ko prinactice yun eh. Kung si Daddy ang nakarinig nun, I'm sure sasabihin niya sa 'kin na, that's so amazing, pretty princess," she said while pouting.
"Princess lang ang tawag ni Daddy sa 'yo. Walang kasamang pretty."
She started punching my chest habang tawa naman ako nang tawa. Mabilis kasi siyang mapikon kaya ang sarap niyang asarin. "Nakakaasar ka talaga, Kuya Jemie! Akala ko ba kakampi kita?!"
"Hey, I'm just kidding." I caught her hands before I slung my arm over her shoulders. "Sa sobrang galing mo sa arts, playing the piano, singing, ang daming boys tuloy ang nahuhumaling sa 'yo. Nahihirapan na nga kami ni Daddy na i-threaten silang lahat."
She rolled her eyes on me. "You don't even have to do that, Kuya. Wala pa sa isip ko mag-boyfriend."
I raised my brow on her. "Kahit crush?"
"Meron, of course."
Napangisi ako. "I'm sure this will create a great havoc on Daddy's part when he found out about this."
"OA n'yo ni Daddy, Kuya. Hindi naman ako seryoso dun. Crush lang yun. Saka nag-promise ako sa kanila ni Mommy that after college saka ko pa lang iko-consider yung pumasok sa relationships."
"Good girl!" I smiled at her and kissed her cheek. My little biological sister, Katie, was now 14. Mommy was always saying that she was very kikay. She was beauty and brains. All the students in our school really loved her... especially boys. Kaya naman overprotective kami ni Daddy sa kanya.
And speaking of Daddy and Mommy. Katie and I were truly grateful to them. Even if we were just adopted, they never treated us differently from their other three biological children. Pag meron sila, meron din kami ni Katie. They truly loved us like their own children. Even our other three siblings were really treating us as their true Ate and Kuya even if they knew that our real parents were their late Tito Justine and Tita Katelynne. They gave us a family. And Katie and I knew that our real dad and mom were really happy for us to have them as a family. Hindi sila nagkamali ng taong pinag-iwanan sa amin.
Katie slapped my chest. "Ikaw nga baka may girlfriend ka na pala in secret."
