Blair
After apologizing to Eagle I decided that everything was settled and we could go back to the way things were before. I invited her over to hang out, made some food, and waited for her to show up. It was nice to know she wasn't pissed at me. While we were eating I turned on my playlist and sang along to my favorite song. Eagle complimented my singing and we went up to my room.
Eagle climbed into my bed throwing the covers into the air and hiding underneath them. I followed her lead and made my way into the bed with her. I watched as she peeked her head out from under the covers and looked me straight in the eyes.
Her smile could make the whole world stop and stare until time itself became frozen. I felt my arms wrapping around her waist creating a balance that could keep us safe. Everything in that moment felt so right. So why couldn't we be together? Part of me wanted to risk everything and tell her how much I wanted this but I just couldn't. I decided that it would be better to just bathe in the moment because I had no idea if or when I'd ever get another.
