My promposal to Eagle was definitely not a moment to forget. Her gentle smile as I placed the necklace around her neck kept me going throughout the rest of my week. I snuck a couple hundred dollars from the liquor store cash box before my dad could catch me and I was able to buy a few standard prom items.
An all black suit with gold trim and a corsage with an arrangement of different flowers was among the things I bought in preparation for prom. It was only a few hours until the night started and I was already feeling nervous, I waited in Eagle's practice room as she got ready at her house. Her parents claimed that they wanted to help her get ready and I had no clue what she was planning on wearing, The only hint that I was given was that it would match the necklace I gave her perfectly.
