If Pj never asked me I wasn't planning on going to prom. I've never been a fan of dances and I don't understand the hype. What's the point of going to a dance just to watch a bunch of half-naked teenagers banging against the walls? It's a known fact that prom's the night that everyone's planning on losing their virginity and I was really hoping that PJ wasn't a fan of that idea.
While I wasn't a huge fan of prom and its activities my parents thought the complete opposite. They wanted to spend extra money just to get a limo and bought me and dress they saw fit. Normally they'd flinch to spending $20 for a meal but now they felt the need to splurge.
I didn't want the night to drag on and I hoped that it would pass by quickly. I thought that it would end as soon as it began but I was wrong. Oh so wrong.
