"Gilmore Girls" (One Shots)

~Emily's rampage in a mall~ (4x15)

This take place during the episode "Season 4, Episode 15: Scene in A Mall". Where Emily goes on a mall shopping rampage, dragging Lorelai and Rory along for the ride. Here is my take on it.

(No one's POV)

Emily had to get out of her house. Richard was driving her crazy with his mustache. Plus, she was still upset that he was seeing Pamelyn Lott for lunch every month for the past 38 years that they have been married (which she was not aware of).

Pamelyn Lott used to be Richard girlfriend/finance. He then met Emily and left Pamelyn for Emily.

So she goes out to Westfarms Mall to do some shopping to get her mind off of this situation. 

Going in the mall she's surprised to see Lorelai and Rory coming down the escalator, hitting from her for some reason.

"Rory, Lorelai", she yells them she's going upstairs. "Meet me up here", she yells at them, when she is going to the second floor.

"Actually Mom we actually we were just leaving".

"Nonsense, we all came here to shop so we are going to shop, come on".

Lorelai and Rory relunctantly followed her inside almost every shop in the mall. Buying then things, things for Richard, and things for her friends.

After a little lunch - she continued her rampage and Rory and Lorelai had to walk briskly just to keep up with her.

After a long day at the mall with Emily, waited down with shopping of stuff that Emily, waited down with shopping of the stuff that Emily bought for them.

"Man, I'm exhausted, and hungry". Lorelai said, of course.

"Luke's?" They both said at the same time.

The girls arrived at Luke's. Luke wasn't there, he was outside staying goodbye to his sister, Liz, who was Jess's mom. Lorelai and Rory comes into the diner with all the stuff that Emily got them.

Luke walks into the diner, and sees the two girls doing inventory of all of the stuff.

"What's all of that?" he said.

"My mother went on a shopping spree" Lorelai said, "Now we have to catalog all of this stuff".

"Why don't you just return it all?" Luke said, confused.

"Because my mother remembers everything that she is ever bought us, because she has wrote everything down, that she has ever bought us, in a little notebook", Lorelai answered.

"Okay, what do you think you want to eat?" Luke said, trying to change the subject.

"Coffee and a hamburger with lettuce and tomato extra mayo on side" they both said. "Maybe some apple pie?" 

"Coming up", he said. Not wanting to argue with them about their dietary habits, which he thinks are totally unhealthy, but he knows from experience there was no sense arguing with them, so late at night.

After they eat. Rory said, "okay, I'm going to get going, I have class tomorrow".

"Okay, let's do this again next week" Lorelai said, each of them took out their calendars. That's the only way they can make sure that they spend time together, because of their busy schedules.

"Okay, I guess I better go and take all of this stuff with me". 

"Okay, honey bye".
