~Author's Note~
In, "Season 2, Episode 10: The Bracebridge Dinner", Christopher had talked to Lorelai and invited Rory to spend part of her winter break with him and Sherry and selfishly she "forgot" to tell her about Christopher's invitation. Lorelai keeps on pestering Rory if she is going to go or not. She said that she didn't know if she wanted to or not. We don't know that she decided what to do, so this is a little AU ( AU = Alternate Universe).

(No one's POV)
Lorelai was going nuts. Rory was invited by Christopher and Sherry, to spend some of the holiday break with them. Then she "forgot" to tell her because Lorelai didn't want to give up her 2 weeks that she has with Rory. Now she is waiting for Rory to decide whether or not she was going to go or not.
"Come on, Rory! Tell me".
"Tell you what"? Rory asked confused, she had no idea what her mother walking about.
"Tell me if you are planning on staying with Dad (Christopher) and Sherry for winter break"?
Rory couldn't believe that her mom, was asking her that. "Don't know, I don't know. Yeah, maybe, I will go".
"Ah, oh", Lorelai said, shocked. "You want to go, wow".
"Well, you made it my choice, and I choose is to go, plus you didn't tell me about his invitation, so I'm going to spend some time with my dad, now goodnight". Rory said, then rolled over the back facing Lorelai and facing away from her.
