~Author's Note~
In "Season 1, Episode 11: Paris is Burning" after the school finds out that Max and Lorelai are together and sometime after that Emily found out Max and Lorelai being together, and she confronts Lorelai about them being together. Lorelai listened to Emily derate her for her actions, and then she says that she didn't want to hear anymore. Emily asked her if Max was really worth it, as if she was saying that "Max was the love of her life".
Then she asked Emily how she found out, Emily said that she and Headmaster Charleston's wife are good friends and they are both in the DAR together. Well, this is a one-shot about when Emily found out about it. This is written in No one's POV. Hope you enjoy reading this!

(No one's POV)
Emily was reading one of her and Richard's books, and enjoying her afternoon. Her quiet and lovely attention was interrupted by the phone ringing. It was Headmaster Charleston's wife.
"Emily, have you heard"?
"No, what"?, Emily asked.
"Turns out that Mr. Max Madina and your daughter are seeing each other. Did you know"?
Emily was just stunned and didn't know what to say. But, before she could say anything more, Headmaster Charleston's wife started talking again. "Well anyway Emily, I have to run but I wanted to you to know by me, instead of hearing about it from someone else".
After they both got off the phone. Emily just stood there, trying to keep her inter outrage inside. But, then again she wasn't really surprised of what she just heard.
