"Gilmore Girls" (One Shots)

~Author's Note~

In, "Season 2, Episode 19: Teach Me Tonight" Luke asks Rory to tutor Jess, she agreed even after Lorelai has misgivings about it. During their time studying Jess kept on trying to distract Rory, who was getting really irritated. 

Finally, Jess convinced Rory to go out for ice cream, then he would study. He agreed. He was behind the wheel of Rory's new car, that Dean made her. Find he, swerved and they ended up in a car accident. Rory called Lorelai from the ER. Lorelai went there to see Rory and then when Rory had to get X-rays and Lorelai couldn't be there, so she took that time to go back to Luke's diner and go to find Jess, but Luke was there and Jess was nowhere to be found. 

Since Jess wasn't there, Luke got the most of Lorelai's anger. And, they got into a pretty bad and big fight. Then later on in the episode, it was revealed the Luke told Jess to leave on the next bus. So, this is what this one-shot is about. This one-shot is written in No one's POV. (No one's POV)

After Lorelai angrily walked away from Luke, Luke looked after her, stunned. He couldn't believe what happened, he was definitely going to have to talk to Jess.

He walked back upstairs, to this apartment, where he lives and waited for Jess to get back.

A few minutes later, Jess came back and strolled in like nothing happened.

"Hey", Luke said, forcefully. "Where were you"?

"Out", he said.

"Out where"? Luke asked.

"What's up with the interrogation"? He asked.

"I heard that you got into an accident and Rory ended up in the hospital?! Now, what in the world happened, Jess"?

"I'm not sure. We went out to get ice cream, for a study break. An animal went out in the middle of the road and swerved to avoid hitting it, and then we crashed", Jess explained. 

Luke just looked at Jess and said, "Seriously, Jess. That is what happened? Do you know where Rory is? She's at the ER and might have to wear a cast, for a good several months".

Jess just looked at him and said, "Well what do you want me to do"?

Luke sighed and looked at him, and said, "You know what? I can't do this anymore Jess. People said when I said you were going to come to live with me, people thought I lost my mind and they said someday I would regret it. Well, that time is here. Leave now, Jess. Go back to New York back to your Mom".

Jess was shocked. He wasn't expecting that. But he agreed and packed up his stuff (well as much as he could, Luke was going to send him the rest of his things) and walked out the door and there was Luke left in his apartment, not sure what had really happened but he knew that if Lorelai was upset and Rory was hurt then he could deal with his decision. 

He really hoped that Rory was okay and he wished that there was something that he could do to help.
