"Gilmore Girls" (One Shots)

~I'm done, Christopher, I'm done (1)~ (7x13)

~Author's Note~

In, "Season 7, Episode 13: I'd Rather Be in Philadelphia" Lorelai keeps calling Christopher, to tell him to come to the hospital. Finally she says that she knows that she and him had a fight, but she expected him to get to the hospital and to be there together (be with her), finally she said. What he was doing was not fair for him to do it. What if she would have said, that she was done with him, and trying to make their marriage work out, and that she would mail her ring back to him. This will be written in Lorelai's POV.

(Lorelai's POV)

I sit in the waiting room along with Rory, Logan and my mother. I am waiting on my dad, to get done with his surgery. I am also waiting for Christopher to show up, I haven't heard from Christopher yet, and he haven't heard from Christopher yet, and he hasn't shown up yet.

As I sit there, I observe Logan and Rory off in the distance. Logan seems to be extremely incentive to Rory. He's there for her, while I'm waiting for the person who is supposed to love me and be here for me, while we wait about my dad, while he's in surgery.

Our marriage was not perfect, and I know that Christopher loves me, even if he has a weird way of showing it.

That's it I'm done with this with him, and our marriage.

(No one's POV)

She excused herself, stood up from the chair that she was sitting on in the waiting area. She walked and stood near the entrance of the hospital, took out her phone and dialed Christopher's phone number. She let it ring, and of course he didn't answer, so she left a message for him, on his answering machine.

"Christopher, since you not gotten my message, and haven't even bothered to come here and be her me with me, then I can't trust you to be there for me. Listen, I know that you are upset and I know that we had a fight, but I would expect you to come here and to be here for me. If you aren't, then what are we doing here? Why are we even married? I just can't do it anymore, I'm done Christopher, and so are we". She hung up the phone, turned around and saw Rory standing there looking at her, and smiled. She walks toward her, put her arm around Rory's shoulder.

"Mom! You okay"?, Rory says, looking up at Lorelai.

Lorelai looks back and says, Yeah, I am okay, I'm just done caring", she said, as she and Rory walked back to the waiting room.
