~Planning for Europe (1)~ (BTW 5x01 & 5x02)

~Author's Note~

In, "Season 5, Episode 1: Say Goodbye to Daisy Miller" and in "Season 5, Episode 2: A Messenger, Nothing More" Rory and Emily both plan a trip to Europe. Rory because she gets into the fight with Lorelai and Emily wants to go because she is fighting with Richard. This is about them planning their trip. There might be a twist.

(No one's POV)

"I want to go away, to get away you", Rory said, standing up and walking to her car. She gets in it and starts driving to Emily's and Richard's house.

(Moving to Rory's POV)

I'm driving to grandma's house in Hartford. We are planning a trip to Europe together. I have to get away from Mom. After what happened with Dean and me and after what we said to each other.

(Back to no one's POV)

Rory finally gets to Emily and Richard's house, she drives up to the house and parks right in front of the house. She gets out of her car and walks to the front door, and rings the door bell.

To her surprise, her Grandma, Emily answered and opened the door. Emily didn't normally answer the door, the maid usually did that.

"Hello Rory", Emily said. Letting Rory into the large house.

"Hi, Grandma", she answered back, walking through the front door.

"Well, before we go and get going to talk about our trip to Europe, why don't we have some coffee/tea while we have some lunch", she said, as they didn't have any lunch that day at the Dragonfly.

"Sounds good", she said.

*After an hour of waiting for their lunch*

"Mrs. Gilmore, lunch is ready for you", the maid said.

Rory and Emily, along with their coffee (Rory) and tea (Emily), stood up from the couch to walk into the dining room for their lunch, all of a sudden Rory stops her and says, "Grandma I was just wondering if I can stay with you for the time until we go to Europe?

Emily looks at her, "Sure, of course". She was very happy to have the company, but she couldn't help being concerned about Rory.

"I'm Rory, are you okay"?

"Yeah Grandma, I'm fine". Mom and I just had a fight and I just don't want to be there with her before we go, so can I just stay here"?

"Sure. Now let's get some lunch", Emily said. Rory and her walked into the dining room to eat their lunch. 

After they were finished their lunch, they went on to start to plan their trip.
